Hello all. New member here. I recently acquired a 49cc Xtreme Scooters. It is an XG505. I am in the process of rebuilding as it was not running.
So far I have replaced
-Carburetor/air filter -Fuel tank, -Throttle cable and twist throttle w/electric start -Brake levers w/brake switch and brake cables -Tires
The scooter now runs great with the pull cord. I am currently trying to wire up the electric start and brake lever. It had no battery in it and the wires were just stuffed into the under compartment. I have routed everything and al now trying to determine where the 2 sets of wires go. Anyone have pictures of one of these scooters wiring?

Maybe one of the other members has a photo that can help, but might be a long shot as this is generally a Vespa-type scooter forum.

I had midbikes with the same or similar style of engine to gopeds. Mine just had a post on the side of the e-starter for power connection. Side note; removing the e-start and using only pull start saves weight and makes the engine more responsive. I do recall having to be very careful with spacing if removing the e-start though, because it will break pull starters if it's not quite right. I removed the wiring harness from mine pretty much as soon as I got it, so I don't recall any details on that from nearly 20 years ago. You should be able to trace wires or do continuity tests to at least figure out which wiring connects to tail/brake lights.

Yea I thought about removing the electric start all together. If I cannot trace the continuity and figure out which wire goes where I still may do that.
I wanted to give it a shot first though since most everything is this there and I bought the brake lever and throttle with the wires for the electric start.
