My father loves the color so i sold it to him. We are going to put a 50mm kit on it and a windshield. It got so hot the bit of the base gasket that is sticking out from the cylinder is now black and crispy

this is what no fan shrouds will do for ya.... that chunk is not a piece of ring its part of the piston...from between the compression ring grooves. The other little piece came off the piston when pushing the pin out with a big clamp and 2 sockets because the piston was expanded around it... ..And whats left of the burnt base gasket.

Not sure why so many people think it's a great idea to ditch the cooling stuff, but glad you're getting it back together and right.

Looks really good from the back now. To me, the addition of a sporty wheel/tire combo, a pipe, and a delete/clean-up back there is so much better looking than all those stretch kits with golf cart wheels and such that most seem to like.

Post #18 up there i didnt check the gaps on the oil rings and of course they were too wide and it smoked like hell It was then i decided to build up this motor. Its the motor I had originally bought for Stroker 95. It has the keyway on the flywheel in the wrong place so when you line the marks up its a tooth off. Might be why I got it so cheap ($100) I think the guy couldnt make it run because of that. Runs good now

Future plans are front disc brake conversion w/5 spoke aluminum wheel and larger tire for the rear. @1"drop front @2" rear.

I like the looks of that yellow, it has the same body as mine and now i want to remove some of the crap over the rear tire.

You all might find this interesting.....those off brand orange cdi boxes, they do have a rev limiter.

Any idea what RPM it's at? I know some aftermarket CDIs are said to be limited at 10,000RPM. For most 4T builds that would actually be kind of a good thing.
