It's the Mirrors! Or maybe a corroded main fuse holder.

Happy man, turned on ignition, all working bar starter. So off to town test it and post letter get coffee in no particular order. So battery and charging circuit test next after starter circuit. My bets are on charging but whatever.

Battery now on charge after checking charging rate. Just light switch to fathom out why not turning on properly. Took out for a spin with the short spell of no rain and found out the speedometer reads 6mph slower than what it's doing. That's a first usually the other way round.

Well off goes other son on it now, how long before it returns. He wants to buy the Lambretta 151 off me if I reduce the cc to 125cc which isn't to hard to do and already checked re changing the Title/ V5 log book with garage across road and they willing to give me a headed on note paper proof of it being done if I have cylinder kit sent to them and I put it on which will do for the insurance company as well and son will do standing order from bank to me , save him getting finance with silly interest charges

Engine and parts now in the shed awaiting for parts for strip down and re assembly. Frame washed and will be given a tosh of paint. Next job is forks out and handlebars off ready to fit the gaiters and new handlebars I have hanging around. Must find a universal headlight that fits as the original is unobtainium.

Damn Easter holidays by the time I walked across the road and dropped the forks out Yolanda had sanded the door ready for painting. Guess who is in town looking for paint. Gardening is my worst hate followed very closely by painting.

Painted frame and forks, changed handlebars now at the burger box for cremated bacon and cheese roll. Paint fumes got to me even with workshop doors open. Leave it till Monday morning now and put it back so I can roll it out.
