Finished almost, road tested all fine. Last little bits, get rid of ugly exhaust, change handle bars as to long for the clutch cable and wires to the switches or shorten the old ones, seal for petrol cap as old swollen and cap won't close properly, sort a decent headlight out, put on new tube and tyre. Now that's off the ramp the Aprilia is on. Sender unit to seal with epoxy, other panels off for new throttle cable, sump pan change as old has hole filled with epoxy, seat lock sort, indicator, get exhaust welded and whatever else I have forgotten.

Changed the black handlebars this evening, no more stretched electric cables. Tomorrow front tyre disc and pads.

Tyre changed, disc changed, pads changed, now master cylinder gone. New one ordered and caliper for £40. Last caliper company has and old looking at bit ropey .

Looks like you will need a belt sander to clean up that hairy 'tyre'.

Well never noticed this bodge of number plate and rear light done by son Callum, held together with cable ties. Lucky I saw it as got a buyer coming to look at it at some point.

Wow, that salt air is hard on steel. That whole thing is eventually going to take 50 quid worth of cable ties to hold it all together, along with an extra 100 quid for the MOT inspector.

Sold to a veteran for folding notes and 3 large packets of His Majesty's Armed Forces Tobacco save me at least £60 in future purchases.
