Hello guys, I recently bought C-one case for Piaggio NRG and having my old cylinder Top Performance Due+ 70cc I realised, that it does not fit to C-one case... So, there is really not any option to fit C-one with any other cylinder than Malossi MHR ones?
Ofc i already put the C-one cases together with Jasil crank, which is probably only 80mm on conrod length and 12mm piston pin...
Is there any better solution than splitting the case and having to buy Malossis bigger crank and MHR cylinder? Cause it pretty disrupts my budget and plans :-D
Thank you in advance!

The cylinder won't bolt to the cases or the ports are too large in the cases or the spacing is wrong and causing the piston position to be too high or low? I thought the whole point of the C-One's 2nd set of stud holes was to allow use of standard cylinders.

It does allow fitment of standard cylinders. The inlet has been increased in size, the flange mount cylinder base is the main attraction although the C-one has stud spacings for original stud mounted cylidners.

I forgot to take a photo of it, but the cylinder housing doesn´t slide inside the crankcase as it should. It stops like 1cm before dead end. I mean, the lower piston surface of cylinder is somehow too long and stops inside crankcase at some port area surface I think. Tomorrow I will take a photo of it. Anyway, if you are telling me that it should work with standard cylinders, then maybe Im doing mistake somewhere and Im starting to having a little spark of hope. Thanks!

Maybe it's just machined for the short skirts of Malossi's racing cylinder? Mine was a little closer to the cylinder in the RC-One setup than I liked so I cut away a little of the case to give more clearance. They don't leave much room there.

Yes Brent, this could be the problem. Do you think its better to gently cut a little from the cylinder or just drill case? Thanks!

I can see now that for example Stage6 MK2 cylinder looks like a bit shorter than TP Due+...Damn why I´ve never thought about possible problems with height of cylinders? :-D

See how the piston looks compared to the cylinder skirts at BDC. It probably goes past the cylinder. If so, you'd have to either cut both the piston and the cylinder or just cut the cases for clearance. Cases are probably the easier one, or at least less to worry about. You won't get a closer match to the flange mount racing stuff if you use that later, but that wouldn't worry me a whole lot.

I will just add this for future reference if anyone is reading it. If you buy the Yamaha Minarelli cases. Apparently these cannot be used with the original stud patern cylidners. I guess even though the mounts are Minarelli, the stud pattern must be Piaggio.

Well, I ordered Stage6 MK2 because it looks on vids and pictures just ,,shorter´´ in stud pattern. So I hope I was right and will inform here if it finally fits without any modification needed :-D .. anyway, here is the photo how it looks now with ,,original´´ stud pattern on C-One.

Stage6 fits right out of the box. I only had to use original Piaggio cylinder studs because those included in C-One package were too short.

C-one case just have a smaller space for crank web it's the only diffrence between c-one and rc-one

I'm just having my rc-one cases machined to take my stroker crank I'm guessing a fair bit of hand case work needed to let piston go to bdc with a 50mm stroke will be interesting
