ok today i tried to fit the yasuni ecb with 6 g weights instead of 6,5 the result is dissapointing, the bike running a notch faster top speed, but at low its doggy af i think i should try stiffer clutch springs ,but i have a feeling this prob is not cvt related the bike has great low torque for wheelies with the stock exhaust that is dirty af but is shitty with the brand new yasuni eco i dont get it

i also noticed that the 6,5g weights that i changed 10 days ago,was 'eaten' maybe thats related with my acceleration problem?

Merry christmas everyone!christmas sales arrived so im buying some new parts for my girl! Bike is stock with a yasuni eco exhaust(similar with stage6 street exh) So im thinking of
Michelen boppers for handling New brake shoes and pads New filter/sparkplug Malossi sport bbk cause i want more power and its crazy cheap Malossi small end bearing
I can afford 1 more part and im between 17.5 carb ,or new variator I think my bike needs both to run properly ,even without installing bbk My carb is covered in oil and i also noticed oil running out of airbox-dunno why I also have very slow accel in uphill but very fast accel when downhill I think thats cvt related, maybe i need a lil bit clutch spring You guys think i should buy carb or variator??

The Yasuni eco is quite a bit different to the stage 6 street. I have both. The eco makes great torque down low. If you have the standard variator, they are pretty rubbish. So I would definitely replace it. On my couple of Minarelli vertical builds the bigger carb did make a difference. But mainly on higher revs. Boppers are not bad tires. Though they are old tech now and better stuff is available. Clutch springs only really make a difference to how the bike pulls away. Perhaps a slightly stiffer contra spring to make it shift down more.

when i said clutch spring,i did mistake.i meant contra spring as you said. i have already stiffer clutch springs and 6 g rollers
stage6 street is better than eco?
my next move is malossi variator.it comes with white contra spring
im thinking of waiting for the rest parts(carb, variator) and then start building the bike, all in once so i ll have to adjust carb and var only once. but everybody in this forum says do it step by step what do you think?
thanks of info!

i prefer to do carb and variator separate because they give similar feedback in tuning for example you may think your lean on the carb because it revs up fast with little power just like too light of variator weights.
your take off sucks could be carb or clutch springs or variator weights

The Yasuni eco is more like a stock pipe, with a slight improvement in performance. The stage 6 street is a half wave pipe. It's louder, but gives it more like an expansion chamber exhaust performance. Just without the higher top end speed.

So today my malossi bbk arrived..i want to say im not very happpy with the quality.malossi is one of the most expensive sport bbk and i expected better machining. I read somewhere that it would be good to chamfer the edges of the ports and polish the exhaust port.. I also know i must upjet the carb 10 around 10 per cent What about variator?i already have 6g rollers and polini blue clutch springs It is possible that i need even lighter rollers with the 70 kit so it works well? Any other suggestions?

Chamfering the ports is a must do It helps it wear in faster and you are less likely to catch a ring You really are just trying to knock the sharp edges off I use needle files the round one works best for me
i polish by hand the exhaust port with sand paper /Emory cloth I start with 60 to 80 grit and work my way down with progressively finer grit till I am down to 600 grit This will get the exhaust port to near mirror finish for better flow
The malossi cylinder by itself really only needs small changes in the carb and variator I was able to get away sometimes with stock jetting and just richening the needle a notch or go up one jet size on the main 10% is a good outer edge to have available just in case
The eco street pipe you are pairing with the malossi power bands over lap nicely and start similar to where the stock power band begins they just revs higher so 6 grams is probably close to right or within a half gram

Great info, thanks! Should i care about squish? If its letsay 1.5 should i remove the gasket and just use spray or glue It is my first attempt to put on a new kit
From your experience with mallosi, its good? I dont expect crazy power from this, but to worth the money at least

I’ve never run a malossi but going to 70cc makes a big difference. For just ripping around on I just bolt in the head how it comes. I haven’t bothered trying to get the exact squish.

Squish is usually very user choice, some will swear it is a necessity, some will say leave it as it is, both sides have pros and cons. I like to think of it as more of a fine tuning thing than a necessity. Less squish more fuel picky and tuning it becomes. Kick it and go with close enough tuning leave it as it comes

I installed the malossi sport as is on multiple scooters and have been very happy with the results . I have put thousands of miles on that cylinder When I measured squish it always came in around 1.5 so it ran well on regular pump gas

i finally found time and worked on the bike. good thing is bike seems to work rly well.got decent amount of extra power at low and med rpms only problem i had was the carbon reeds, the bike idle really high i put the old reeds back and it worked better i went for a test ride and the spark plug seems good i didnt go full throttle yet, though today i wot for 50 metres 2 times but i didnt check it after i think with bigger carb and variator it could be more fun
