Hello guys,my name is Babis.Im in scooter galaxy for three months, when i got a stock yamaha bws ng(prebug, mbk booster,w/e) for free. It has a lot of scratches, some fairings have cracked,it s slow to death(50-55 km/h i guess) but this thing is a wheelie machine and it has the class of the good old bikes.i ll try to insert an image What i want to do is a sleeper wheelie bike, without spending a lot of money.Want to have some good low end torque,85-90 km/h top speed, and be bulletproof(i want it for everyday going to work etc).Im not in hurry to do all in once, cause i like the process and im budget oriented. I noticed some cracks on the intake manifold,so...first maxiscoot package arrived home yesterday barikit intake manifold(12-21 dellorto) 23,5 e yasuni eco exhaust 90 e malossi filter 5 e i am running the bike with empty airbox atm and snorkels totally removed and is running good.i tried to run with the oem filter but the bike wasnt running well,i just tried to remove it and the bike for some reason is running good for 3 months now.lets see if it runs better with the red sponge. Barikit intake looks fine quality,i am happy i didnt spend double the money on a malossi intake I also decided to replace the 20 years old and full of dirt exhaust .yasuni was the cheaper quality choise, and it looks better than the rest in my opinion.i watched some reviews and dynotest and it seems to has similar perfomance with s6 street ,wild lion etc. i cant wait to see myself

Nice bike. I've had a BWS NG in the past. I would check if the restriction is still in the variator. It should be capable of more speed than that. You can get some good performance out of the Minarelli vertical engines. A Polini or Malossi sport really makes a massive difference.

thanks for replying! Next week i will change exhaust and intake, and i will check variator and belt condition.
My scenario: Restriction in variator is removed, since the bike is old,but at some point they replaced stock weights in variator with lighter ones. and i believe that bcs the bike pulls "hard" low and easily wheelie, but if u dont wheelie and try to accelerate more it just dies there. i think next step is 70cc, Have you seen dr evo/black trophy kit?they say its super reliable, and will keep my budget low. i would like to know if it has similar perfomance with malossi/polini i was informed that top perf and dr evo is the same, and their owner is motorparts company.(minarelli) i mean they are minarelli branch company

Not tried either. The top performance black trophy is not much cheaper than a Polini or Malossi sport. You could try a Naraku kit. The cylinder head is not included, you can use the original one though. It's about half the price of the trophy, if money is tight.

30 euros is a difference,if you live in Greece. I ve heard some good comments for naraku products, and other Taiwan companies like ncy. Their quality has nothing to do with chinese products But i will stick with italian manufacturers.i think its worth to give 50 or 70 more for italian quality,im sure it will last longer and it will have more power + cylinder head is included

Here I can get a Malossi sport for €10 more. From scooter attack it's about €25 more. Different markets have different prices.

I bought my first package from maxiscoot, maxiscoot and scooterattack is the same shop, their sites are almost identical except some small differences in some parts' prices. I tried to find parts from greek shops, and guess what
Athens-Patras 200 km = 20 euros shipping (for polini bbk 180) if i go athens and buy it,it ll cost 160 Germany-Patras 60.000 km = 0 euros shipping (for polini bbk 149)
Truth is bbk is a basic thing for a good build and i tend to give the extra money God damn financial crisis and high inflation By the way i ve learned that i must change small end bearing too.the right size is 10x14x13?

Yes 10mm ID x 14mm OD x 13mm wide is the standard size. Always change it with a good quality one if not included. Some kits come with the bearing included. The price of everything has gone crazy. I paid £90 for a Polini sport about five years ago. Now it's £140.

I’ve ran the top performance black on a Zuma (it’s now on my girl’s vino). It was a good kit but the Stage 6 street race is better for around the same money. I took the tp off for the s6 & the difference was very noticeable.

Streetrace was at a bargain at maxiscoot, and 137 euros was a very tempting price. But i saw some graphs and it seems to have less power than polini at low rpm.But is it stock crankshaft friendly? now it costs 165,ok is not extremely expensive.

The street race is a great cylinder. With the right pipe it likes to rev. Enough to bend my low miles standard crank. With the eco exhaust it would limit the revs. Any 70cc kit will put more strain on your engine. Being twenty years old now, I would definitely fit a new crank if wanting much more performance. You should give the crank a check over when installing the new kit.

The s6 might be slightly less low end than the others but it makes up for it in ability to grow if you desire. It’ll make more torque than what you have now & if in the future you want more a pipe change will get you there. I ran it on my stock 11000 mile crank with a new wrist pin bearing. I just kept the revs below 10’000. With a pipe like the one you got I imagine your peak power will be around 8500ish. I wouldn’t be afraid to run that. The Athena kit is more mid race so I’d worry more about it.

Ok great informatio,so my old crank have chances to survive. i ve heard this s6 kit is a killer and reliable.specially with s6 exhaust and and s6 crank But unfortunately i cant go for expansion chamber, even if i have the money.I already track too much attetion with front wheel always up.downtown is not friendly for yasuni c16 dirtbike sound
