Here are some news & pics I found little play in my right bearing, so decided to take it all apart and change it...so my current motor status is liek this: Someone bumped into my scoot in front of my building at Friday night (drunk) like 4 months ago and broke my cooling duct, scratched my exhaust, and right mirror. The bad news is that I found a crack in my right casting (where you pour the oil) now. The good news is that I bought another one for 50HRK (that's about 10USD ) Decided to make the flywheel lighter by 20%. That means going from 723g to 575,4g (20,4oz) I did this: Still 67,6g short. Ok, time to get extreme: I am now at 578,4g, happy as a man could be I know that I took a few grams off the center, which doesn't really do anything, but I couldn't help myself.. Now have to get the new bearings on, and then we'll see. I'd like to shave off a few casting marks to make the oil circulate better. We'll see how that goes

If you don't have a bearing or gear puller you should be able to heat the bearings with a torch to remove them.

Awesome key! Great idea!
One a side note... I was also wondering if you noticed any difference in your throttle response after you lightened your flywheel.

Thanks, I like it very much Proud of myself, haha I doubt I'll notice the difference because I did so many mods that it'll be a great improvement! (carb mods, valve mods, valve retainer mods, head mods, 50-72cc, flywheel, clutch lightening)

Awesome work. Do you have your own machine shop? I have the same type of keys. One of mine broke too. My fix was not as creative as yours, but it works. Attachments:

hehe I have a small workshop, but its primary function is service of medical equipment, mostly dentist's stuff. Now, as I do more photography, I have time for mods like these!

Finally got some time to work on the scoot The 72cc is in, everything is lightened up, I'm still working on the torsion control, but I got the stock in there today to make a pass or two After 3 heating cycles, decided to go WOT It's ok, the rollers that I have put in are too heavy, but I did it on purpose so I don't overrev until the engine breaks in a little. Rims got matt black powdercoating, I simply adore them now ;D Just look at them Now the scoot looks even better, atleast in my opinion Got the thermometer in: (before the first firing) 0-50km/h, about 9 seconds...slow And yeah, I have tires with a little bigger diameter now, so maybe mi chinometer measures the correct GPS speed now, I have to check www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHR4gBd2KjU

Those wheels do look nasty. ;D Good thinking on the heavy rollers for break-in. I wanna see what she does when you get it tuned the way you want.
