Thanks for the warm welcome guys Today I finished up the front light, tuned the motor up a bit...and got a preeety nice surprise from my niner! The engine is overreving, which means the rollers are too light, which means it's making much more power I'm finally happy! (goes to the garage to modify stock rollers)

This is one sick scooter. I cannot believe how strong it runs now. I wanted to make a acceleration video, but couldn't do it with one hand. That's a REALLY good result for me.

Needing to hold on is definitely a good sign. ;D I like the new headlight setup.

Thanks man! Does anyone here have any experience with facing the carburator forward? I saw some of the Kliff's earlier work, front facing carb porn I think it will get more fresh air that way (cooler air, and we know GY6's LOVE cool air), and the mixture will flow in the right direction. (when you rush forward, the stuff on and in your scoot tends to stay, that is go backwards ) Done it?

A curved port tends to flow toward the top,if the intake is flipped over the mixture would flow to the top of the intake tube, then try to flip over to the top of the intake port in the head,I think the mixture would be dizzy once it reached the inside of the cylinder.. :2cents:

It took me forever to get a tach, but once I used it it didn't take long to get one on each scoot. They're a great addition.

Oh NO! I and many others have had worst luck with those style tachs. I hope yours works good! Mine would shut itself off and reset itself all the time. A tach is great to have. I hope you got a good one of the bunch

If that one turns out to be poor quality, the Trail Tech TTO is a good choice at a reasonable price and the genuine Tiny Tach gets good reviews as well.

I hope I get a good one, didn't know they were problematic Don't want to keep it on forever...these digital style stuff makes me sick. I want analogue! This will stay on till' everything is tuned and in shape, and that's it. The thing that I don't like about Tiny Tach is that it's three times pricier and you cannot change the battery.

I understand, i was in the same boat when i got mine. Cant change the battery in the one you got either. I think they say its good for 5 years? Mine didnt make it five months. I really hope yours last longer.

It says you can change the battery....we'll see! I can easily give him a negative rep on EBay if something's not as it's written Nevertheless, 5 months will be more than enough to get my rollers goin'
