I am looking for some help on getting my sons scooter to move out a bit better. I am new to the scooter world and was wondering what pipe, rollers, variator , etc.

You really need to work out what sort of riding you will do, and budget. The sky's the limit really. Biggest bang for the money is a sports cylinder kit. Easiest would be an expansion chamber exhaust and jet increase for the main jet.

What pipe would you suggest? I'm looking for it to get outta the hole faster all the way through top end. I was thinking of a $ 400-500 budget.

If you dont mind being loud and proud yasuni r or z would be my ffirst choice they can be found at many vendors you will need to get stiffer clutch springs and lighter variator weights so you start in the higher and narrower power band and up jet the carb so you dont cook your engine .
If you want the stock look without the loud hornet buzz tecnigas silent pro and malossi wild lion are my first choice you can get them from multiple vendors . Stock cvt settings are real close to right on since the power band starts close to same place jut ends at a higher rpm you still might need to up jet the carb

Have a look on the CVT case of the vin plate. It should have a code, probably a 1E40QMB or 1PE40QMB. This is a Minarelli style engine.

As usual Zino is spot on. I’m really happy with a Malossi Sport cast iron kit, Wild Lion exhaust and rejected to an 84 main and 46 pilot. The last mod I made was to a upgears package. Not sure what carb is on yours so whether these numbers apply, but the difference is night and day. Way faster acceleration and my Zuma will do a little over 50. 30-50 the performance is in my opinion astounding making it the perfect commuter. I spent about $380 on everything.

I’m with him too but prefer a stage 6 street race kit. Should you decide you want to take it further it has more potential. Also revs a few hundred rpm’s higher which is more top speed.

Stage 6 is a brand like Malossi and Athena. People seem to really like them. All depends on the use of the scooter. I commute in traffic on mine so 0-40 is key and the Malossi works very well. The Stage 6 will give you more revs so higher top speed and is a little more expensive as well. Finding the right exhaust to match is really important too. With your budget I think the cast iron Stage 6 Streetrace would do the job well.

All of the kits people have mentioned are dual ring cast iron sport kits. The street race is just a little more hopped up.
