Do you have a rpm gauge ? It would help a lot with tuning the cvt Medium or hard springs for the clutch For the variator I would get at least 2 sets 1 and 1 1/2 grams lighter than you have now. Thta way you can can run multiple combos to figure out works best For example Current weights are 7 grams You buy 6 and 5 1/2 You can run all 7 Half 7 and 6 for 6.5 average All 6 All 5 1/2 One of those will feel best If you find it’s one of the mixed weight ones buy a set thta hits closer to the average weight Run them like this 767676 so your variator is balanced for testing

Yes, I do have a tach and will be installing it. I'm still gathering info before I make the purchase of the items I need.

If you put the rpm gauge now You can get benchmarks for stock setup The first one you want is take off rpm Roll on the throttle slowly Make note of what rpm the scoot starts rolling forward It most likely will be around 4k
The yasuni pipes will feel doggy at that rpm so you will need stiffer springs to get you in the rpm range the pipe takes off with power is probably 5 to 6 k rpm’s
The second thing you get a baseline for is Hit the throttle wide open and track what rpm the variator jumps to and holds This is your shift rpm Then track your peak rpm thta your current set up gets You set your weights so you get max power when you hit the throttle wide open With the yasuni this will be above 8 k rpm’s Possibly as high as 9 k

Will I need a different cdi module to allow it to get to 8K rpm's

Most 2 strikes don’t have rev limiters The revs are limited by cylinder port timing or stock pipe 4 strokes need limiters
One easy way to test If you have a limiter Go down a steep hill with your stock set up The rpm’s will rise and then stop going up if you have a limiter If you don’t they will push past 8 k

I would grab ahold of temp gauge trail tech makes a great one Thta will keep you from cooking your cylinder
The temp gauge will help give you a safe carb setting for the main jet a lot of guys look for a main jet that peaks below 350 degrees on long wide open runs and give you a clue to air leaks
The rpm gauge you can use for both fine tuning the carb settings for best performance and dial in the cvt

Does anyone know if this pipe will bolt up to my scooter?

So I went ahead and purchased the TT exhaust. Is it normal for the exhaust to have the flange sticking out like it shows? Also, can I open up the exhaust port to match the opening of the new exhaust.

Yes you Can open up the exhaust port. It won't make a massive difference. And I would remove the cylinder to do it as you don't want debris getting into the cylinder. The exhaust needs the other type of exhaust gasket. The donut shaped one.did it not come with the exhaust?

When I say open up the port can I open it as large as the the inside of the donut gasket all the way to the cylinder wall if that makes sense? Without messing up the port timing!

You can but just adding a sport 70 kit will make way more of a difference for not a lot of money.
