There is a Stage 6 pro replica pipe and a LeoVince ZX pipe for sale locally to me. Which one should I buy?

The ZX is quite a mild pipe which will be quite easy to set up having a wide power band. The pro replica is a bit more powerful but needs carefully setting up as it has a narrower power band. I used one and really liked it. Although the ZX has been discontinued for years now. There was a reason you used to see them everywhere.

I’d probably go for the Zx. Easier to tune & not as loud. It will give up a little but I’ve had 2 & really liked them.

Guy just texted me back saying he sold them. So with that being said, what pipe, 70cc cylinder, variator, etc would you recommend? This is a pic of the rear clutch. The variator has 7 gram weights

It would depend on what sort of riding you plan on doing.

I guess mainly just running around town stop sign to stop sign with some wide open roads hoping to get it to go faster than 35mph.

Do you want look like stock exhaust or do you want a expansion pipe that is loud and proud .
Yasuni Z or R ,tecnigas next R or for expansion pipes would give you more top speed . These will require a upjetted carb and a resetting of the cvt with lighter weights and stiffer clutch springs to get you to start off in the higher and narrower power band
for Street pipes malossi wild lion ,tecnigas silent pro, polini speed are good choices be prepared to upjet the carb and you may be able to get away with stock transmission setting since the power band is very wide and starts in the same place as stock pipes juts revs out at a higher rpm
these pipes are easy to come buy from multiple vendors your scoot may require that you use a dremel or spacers on the mounting hardware or the pipes so they fit .

I'm thinking I want to be loud and proud. I like the look of the expansion chamber exhaust. Besides, can't be any louder than the harleys running around with there loud a$$ exhaust!

pull the restriction washer out of the variator or just pick up an after market one like a malossi multivar and you should be doing 45mph no problem.

All 3 of those expansion pipes will work well with stock cylinders and when you upgrade .
They just get a little louder when you jump to a 70 cc

Yasuni build the best expansion chamber exhaust for the street. The Yasuni R was 6mph faster than the next R I had on my 50. Worked even better with a 70 kit. The Z is better if you ride mainly in towns with the odd faster road. The next R is good if your on a budget, as well as the Leo Vince TT.

Can anybody tell me what Yasuni pipe this is. It was given to me but does not fit the Minarelli style horizontal engine. I was thinking of cutting the stock exhaust and trying to to weld it up to this pipe and make it fit. Or is it not worth my time?

After trying to fit/mock up the exhaust I determined that it is gonna be way to much work to get it to fit. So I'm thinking of buying the Yasuni R exhaust. What springs for the rear clutch and variator rollers would you suggest I start out with. Thanks
