Nice find on the decals ! Wish I’d found these when I was building, I had to have mine custom made.. I got my panels from brixamoto too. I found them to be good and have lasted so far no probs except the floor board, i dont think it’s ABS like the body panels are and I had to put the stock one back on

Spent some time adding some cheap frame sliders that I got off Amazon to the rear rack mounts. Had to get some different bolts than the ones that came with the kit (10mm vs 8mm). They are a little obnoxious looking (then again so is a scraped pipe and body panels), so I don't know if I'll keep them or not. While I wait for my buddy to ship out the right triple tree, figured I’d add some carbon fiber wrap to the fork lowers. I’m not a huge fan of fake carbon fiber but I dig the look and don’t really care to bend my “no fake carbon” rule here. Can always be easily removed if I change my mind. We’ll see how well it holds up. I went with Vivid Vinyl which is apparently the good stuff. My old neighbor used it on his corvette. Pretty cheap on Amazon.

I think each of them would look more pronounced on a set of white panels but we’ll see. Where did you order your decals? I have a background in graphic design (I’m in product/UX design now), so designing some and sending mine off to be printed wouldn’t be too hard. Also, I didn’t even get the bottom panel since it was in decent shape already. I might hit it with some plastic treatment or something to freshen it up though. But, it’s good to know to maybe go OEM with the floor board. Definitely want that to hold up since it sees most, if not all, of the wear and tear.

You have transformed that bike, you really have gone for the French 90s look…looks great! The decals I contacted a guy on eBay and sent him some pictures… did you design and print those decals your self ?

Thanks man, getting there with things, really can't wait to ride the thing - just need to get this front end sorted. I did not design those myself, found them on Motorkit here: - www.motorkit.com/en/stickers/25643-sticker-kit-for-mbk-booster-yamaha-bw-s-phase-1-playing-world-white-yellow-orange.html- www.motorkit.com/en/stickers/25641-sticker-kit-for-mbk-booster-yamaha-bw-s-phase-1-playing-world-white-grey-purple.html?search_query=bw%27s+sticker&results=16- www.motorkit.com/en/stickers/25642-sticker-kit-for-mbk-booster-yamaha-bw-s-phase-1-playing-world-white-red-blue.html?search_query=bw%27s+sticker&results=16I’d def go for the grey and pink on that nice blue you have on the panels Gray and pink would look nice - I wish they didn't have the extra text at the bottom "big playing world" lol not even sure what this means or where it comes from.

Alright so I've been passively shopping for a new rear shock. I know stock shock length is 280mm but has anyone ever added some height or run a longer shock on their prebug? I know those with other scoots have done so, just not sure about the prebug. The Aerox fork sits a bit higher/taller so having a big more height in the rear may bring me closer to stock balance. With the taller tires, having a little bit of extra height in the rear wouldn't hurt. I found this shock on amazon and it looks like a cheapie but if it performs as well or better than the stocker, I'm all for it based on it's looks alone. It comes in 280mm or 320mm... www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C69N7ZD8/ref=ewc_pr_img_3?smid=A39ICVHKUSTB61&th=1

Finally got the right triple tree and was able to get that all on and adjusted and throw on the front body panels. Really happy with the look. I went ahead and purchased the shock above in 280mm length so we'll see how that goes. Looking at it now with the front panels on, it does look a little low in the back so maybe that will even it out a bit. Not too sure as I've seen people use various rear shocks on these ranging from 240mm-300mm. Whatever the case, it's to the point where the center stand is just barely functional. If the new shock has it sitting even higher, I'll have no choice but to throw on a side stand. If anyone has any suggestions on side stand, I'm all ears. I'd rather get one that doesn't have it leaning at a 45º angle LOL. Oh, and I took those sliders off, they were goofy big. Next up will finally be some more tuning and on my list is: - main jetting - clutch bell - torque spring Main jetI was running an 85 main but had some concerns about that being too small so just swapped in a 95 with plans of jetting down from there. It ran OK with the 85 but I wanted to be sure I wasn't too lean. The bike feels super rich right now with the 95 and temps are nowhere near a concern so I'm going to back off and work my way back down. Clutch bellI have been running the stage 6 clutch and a Naraku clutch bell because I couldn't find a stage 6 bell in stock anywhere. All good, the Naraku is fine and all but it was definitely thicker than the stock bell, leaving very little thread on the shaft to get a bite on with the clutch nut. (The stock bell wouldn't even work and rubbed on the clutch pads in a weird way). I'm hoping the stage 6 clutch bell fits better and leaves more thread exposed. If not, I may have to get the bell machined a bit to take some of the thickness down. Has anyone else ever run into this issue? I'll post some pictures of the issue in the next day or two. Torque Spring I want to try a softer spring because right now the bike feels like its not shifting quick enough. Running a hard spring now but have a malossi white I can pop in. The stage 6 extra soft I had been running before was definitely too soft. Side note: I really need to remind myself to take pictures as I'm doing this work. With kids, the job and as a result, little free time, I tend to dive in and go on things when I'm wrenching and forget to document the process. Want to be sure I'm giving back to folks here or paying forward to those who might benefit from learning a thing or two, rather than just posting these end-result pics. In due time.

Would say don't use the over range pulley, stock pulley with the stage 6 clutch is about perfect with the Contessa kit, solid all around bike, over range is kinda for more high revs screaming.
Stock gears and stock pulley, 50 ish mph bike all day, just my opinion and thoughts.

Yeah this is probably a solid call and I should have held off on the over range until my ultimate plan of a more high end kit. Was planning to throw on an Athena or MXS on later this winter when I have more time to get into the cases and replace the crank. Going to see if I can’t get it in tune and if it’s still giving me issues might do what you recommend above. Hoping some torque spring, rollers and carb tuning does the trick. We’ll see.
