Been wanting one of these for a long time and finally picked one up! Found this on craigslist with just shy of 800 miles in fully stock form. (Yes, 3 out of 4 of the turn signals are busted - so sorting that will be one of the first things LOL). Not too sure on how exotic of a build I want this to be in the end other than the fact that I want it to remain a solid daily ripper and something reliable. I can already tell how big of a difference the gearing in these makes - it gets up to speed almost as quick as my 70cc Vento Triton with 10:1 gearing. From what I can tell, if you keep the gearing stock on these, with an over range kit and other supporting mods, 55-60mph is capable on stock gearing with a fairly streetable build - for now that is the goal. Going to run the stock crank and exhaust for a while with a Contessa jug and over range, and see how long that will last me.    |

They do look cool with Aerox wheels. Gives them a totally different look.
What hub are you using to mount them? There are a few on the market.

It does change the look quite a bit and to be honest I’m not sure if I’ll end up liking it more than the OEM/90’s retro look once it’s all out together but we’ll see. My goal for this build is going to be keeping it as stock/OEM+ looking as possible. I have a set of blue body panels coming from somewhere overseas and really looking forward to ditching the red. That shipping takes forever though so it will be weeks. Either way I’ve always liked both the classic Aerox 5 spoke and Prebugs so I couldn’t wait to try it. I’m going to be using an older (99-02 I think?) Aerox frank fork assembly. They fit the prebugs. Which, was much needed anyway - even though this bike only had 700 miles on it, the suspension left a lot to be desired. Phew. For the rear, I am just using a drum adapter. I looked into doing the disc conversion but it was pricey haha. |

That's not a bad deal for the whole fork assembly. I've not tried that brand before.

That's not a bad deal for the whole fork assembly. I've not tried that brand before. Yeah man we’ll see how it holds up… to be honest anything will be better than the 20+ year old fork that’s on there now. If anyone has suggestions on a good rear shock that doesn’t break the bank, I’m all ears. |

You GET me man! That’s my vision for this thing. I’m an 80s baby and grew up in the 90s and want this thing to look like what cool looked like back then haha. Just want a really clean, not-too-modded look with a touch of modern. |
