Currently sits as a stock 50cc 2 stroke vino. Exhaust has been derestricted, variator ring removed. 38mph is the top that I've got a gps on so far.
Today installed a Malossi Multivar.
Super quality piece, easy installation. Lots of stickers 😁 Have not installed the clutch spring, probably will in the coming weeks.
Way peppier from a standstill. Throws lots of gravel in my driveway. Gf will be upset. Such is life 🙃
Coming soon: Technigas Silent Pro, Athena 70cc kit. Possible front end swap to get disc brakes. Still doing research but I have a good lead.

the malossi variator is a major upgrade over stock it shifts better and has more top end and gives spunkier takeoff the stock variator is smaller and does not use the full face of the variator it leaves like 5mm left on outer edge you can see the wear mark from the belt to test for full belt travel on your new variator run a permanent marker from inner to outer edge of variator run down the road full blast and then measure how many millimeters are left the malossi variator properly shimmed can get down to about 2 mm on both inner and outer edge with stock belts this way you max out the gear ratio for first gear for great take off and top gear for top end this is a ncy variator that fully maxes out under 1mm left with a blue marker . this ncy is only 89 mm the malossi is 97mm so you have alot more top end potential

I'm super pumped about it. I did notice a slightly higher top speed also. I don't know if you saw my post on the wrist pin thread but I had accidentally sent my jets to my old address. I just got back home from picking them up. My old neighbors who I'm still friends with was able to get them for me. Next step is exhaust and rejet.
Also the temp gauge I ordered say it's for a 14mm spark plug. I haven't even taken it out of the box. Is this correct? Also, do you have a picture of how you mounted yours?

I have a vino with a top performance 70 kit, wild lion pipe, & a multivar. It’ll do 50mph on the flat & 55 on a slight decline. They are easy to make pretty fast.

Okay so I broke an exhaust bolt trying to get the Technigas to fit. I installed the 70cc cylinder so I didn't have to fit with the broken bolt. Stock exhaust. 70 main, needled raised all the way. Goes 47 downhill. DHL pulled up the first time I tried to write this and dropped off my final drive kit.
I had ordered tires a few days ago. Ordered Kendas. I let the parts guy talk me into 120/70 on the rear. Idk if it's doing to clear the shock or not. If it's not, it's on him. He talked me into the Technigas exhaust which had horrible fitment as well. Not real happy with him.
But yeah super fun to ride with the 70 kit. I took the kiddo out on a rip around the block. She loved it.
I'll upload some pics here in a few. I gotta get dinner figured out.

Have fun with it You now have that bbk smile
You can go up one size in the back tire for sure to 90/90/10 The front tire anything much larger than stock rubs on the shock.
As far as jetting ,the temp gauge will get you close on long wide open runs you want your main jet to level off below 350 degrees is a general rule. My vinos typically level off 320-330 with a build similar to yours .
Since you have the stock pipe which limit your rpms you may run best at lower temps .

I'm gonna swing by the shop and grab a couple fresh plugs tomorrow. I'll do a full pulls and maybe a chop to see It'll be nice to take a main road instead of the side route that I've been taking.
We'll see how this tire thing goes. I hope it fits. I'm pretty upset about this Technigas not fitting. It was still on me but he lead me to believe Technigas was good quality and it is not it seems. Oh well I guess it happens. I'm still happy with it regardless, just thank full I had a spare bolt that fit the new jug.

You have to bolt it up to the flange then do whatever is necessary to make the bracket fit without stressing the pipe at all. Washers, spacers, slotting the mounting holes and slotting the exhaust flange holes is often required. You simply cannot force the pipe to bolt up, it will crack the pipe and put stress on the cylinder studs.

Yes I've never really had a problem fitting a pipe before. But the last two didn't fit very well. A Yasuni eco had to be modified to mount up correctly. And the stage 6 street pipe didn't line up front to back. Or vertically. And that was trying them on two different bikes. It's funny I have never had a problem with either companies expansion chamber exhausts.

Even when I started by mounting the flange to the engine first, it still rubs the fan shroud. Speaking of the flange, it had splatter from the restrictor welds. One of the welds even pooled up higher than the flange and went onto the face of the flange. Just all around poor quality.
Edit: however, the Athena cylinder kit has the exhaust at a slightly different angle. The stock exhaust doesn't quite fit right, so I'm thinking I'll try again to see. I might also try to grind down that a bit of weld medium on the flange, and probably switch to exhaust studs to help make it a little easier. I can get that pretty cheap at the scooter shop.

Exhaust studs are better to use any ways If you snap one off way easier to replace
post up pictures of that exhaust I have had to extend bolt holes with a dremel on the exhaust mounting brackets and had to use spacers
The exhaust flange is not a part that should have any welds on where it mounts up to the cylinder . Is it fixable in the back yard or does it need to go to a machine shop.
