If you have the stock pipe I’d highly suggest the wild lion street pipe. Might be barely louder than stock but revs higher. I got 5mph with it over stock & it still looks stock & isn’t loud.

It's been a while, so update time!
New 80/90-10 tire for front is in. When I put it on, I'm taking the 3.50-10 and replacing the 120/70-10 on the rear. It's still rubbing, so I'm going a different direction. Stock rear suspension will be reinstalled.
On the note of suspension, I began the process of ordering parts to do a disc swap like guti did on their vino. So far it's just the triple tree and race set that been ordered. They have a few used shocks at the shop I'll slap on to start, a long with a random wheel, and have caliper, cylinder, fluid lines etc on the shelf we can piece together. Plan is to use some of the old used parts just to make sure it all goes together well and I like it, then I can upgrade from there.
I was also going to ask about modifying the clutch. I saw a post somewhere on this site where someone did but I didn't know if I'd be just as well off spending $45 for the upgraded secondary ncy pulley. Any advice or thoughts on that are appreciated.
Other than the bike still rips, and I'm still getting top speed in the ballpark of 50mph.

That's it. That's the mod list so far lol

Got the Technigas mounted up. I've been working a lot, plus Halloween was last week so I haven't had a whole lot of time to work on it. Tires will be figured out on Wednesday, and I'll also tear into the spare front end parts they have set aside for me. I'll probably start but dismounting the tire so I can paint the wheel, and then since the triple tree came in I'm going to swap the shocks over and maybe try to fit up a caliper. What can I use to cut/trim the front plastics wheel cover/fender/fairing? I'm not exactly sure what to call it. In guti's 70mph thread, it kind of looks like it was burnt or melted or something? I also have a trickle charger to install as well. Idk about you all, but I enjoy wiring and I'm tossing around the idea of installing an alarm and remote start. I had one on my last scooter, a Chinese 50cc, before it got stolen.

What can I use to cut/trim the front plastics wheel cover/fender/fairing? I'm not exactly sure what to call it. In guti's 70mph thread, it kind of looks like it was burnt or melted or something? I've always used a small cutoff wheel in a Dremel or other rotary tool. Dremel makes plastic specific cutoff wheels now for their EZ Lock mandrel. The EZ Lock is nice but I've never tried a plastic specific wheel. Standard cutoff wheels have worked fine for me from Dremel or generic. Most rotary bits are going to burn/melt the plastic at the edge. Slowing them down may help and don't use a lot of pressure. A lot of times the melted stuff will come off by hand and you can clean up more with a little drum sander bit or even burrs if you still need more shaping than the disc allows. amzn.to/3sl1qMS

Got tires figured out today. 3.50-10 on rear, 80/10-10 on front, stock rear shock reinstalled. No more rear rubbing and it feels so much better. Haven't really had it out too much but it rides a lot smoother and my kickstand works better now.
After installing the exhaust I'm feeling a dead spot in the mid range. Takes off nicely, "shifts" and then the it just kind of flattens out a bit till I get to 35mph or so(no tach, unsure of exact rpm). Once it hits that spot, it opens right up and is super snappy 35-50mph. I have a feeling I'll get a little more than 54 mph on a good stretch but I've been behaving myself in traffic and haven't really pushed it. I'm thinking CVT tho. I'm gonna grab a secondary pulley for the clutch and install the contra spring.
Also got a little bit of work done on putting together the front end. I swapped the shocks over from the old triple tree to the Islander tree. Kept all the axle, spacer, Speedo etc. They had a new rotor to fit in off the shelf, and after I paint the wheel and mount up the rotor, I'll see if we can fit up a caliper.

Got a little bit of paint done, the first coat. I'll probably do a wet sand an do another coat, maybe even repeat that a few times. I was a eyeballing an NCY caliper as well. Not quite a full big brake kit, but a step up from stock for sure. There was something else I was going to ask about when I posted this update but I can't remember 🙃

UPDATE TIME
I've been working a lot and haven't taken the time to do an update.
Scoot runs great right now. I have installed a larger adjustable clutch, in combination with the contra spring that came with my multivar variator. I did notice a much smoother "shift", and since the clutch was a little bigger(kind of acts like a budget over range), I also got a little bit more top end. Like 1-2mph. I really liked how smooth it was.
I then installed the upgraded final drive from Malossi I picked up. I lost A LOT of low end pep but that's okay. It's actually a little more comfortable to ride without having to constantly keep the front tire down. I'd like to get a little bit of it back though. I topped out at 60 but I think with enough room I can get that number up a little bit.
I've got most of my brake swap acquired but still have a few odd n ends to get.
I was thinking of also doing a new reed cage for better flow, and/or also a carb. It seems kind of like a PITA to do a carb swap tho. I'd have to change my throttle housing (I think) plus I'd have to set up a manual choke cable, and possibly even a new intake so the jury is still out on that one.
Thoughts?

It's been a while so here's an update! Things have been really good for the vino until recently I started noticing a slight slip that progressively got worse. Clutch was done for and had an issue with my drive face pulley. A piece of debris has been left behind and had chipped up my pulley. I didn't think anything of it and at the time only replaced the variator. The tiny little chips shredded my belt on that side. New adjustable polini clutch, Malossi bell and belt and drive face. I've also been doing a little reading but to get ready to do a rebuild on this Chinese engine I'm getting this weekend. Pretty much all the minarelli parts fit right? Just need to double check a few small things here and there?

Finally got the vino back from the shop with some parts to install. A new Athena 70cc kit, and a yasuni r.
I'm having trouble getting it to start. I know I have spark and I know I have compression, but it will barely fire with starting fluid. I went up from a 70 main jet to a 75 already. Still not enough fuel? I've also got a 77.5 jet but that's where I would be capped out at for now. Could it be the pilot as well perhaps?
