I extended the hole for the bottom mount, and bent it a little bit to help but the top mount wouldn't reach at that point. It's just a terrible fitment. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to shade tree the flange, and I'll probably cut tabs out on the flange as well to see if that little range of motion will help.

same color as my vino's would some washers help with spacing the top hole.

same color as my vino's would some washers help with spacing the top hole. Now that I have the Athena kit I'm not sure. Before, it was off center so washers wouldn't have helped. If I have to I'll cut into the tab a bit or drill it like I did the bottom. It did also seem like if the top of the bracket was bent out a little it would fit better, which is why I bent it. While it's not totally perfect it back to pretty close. I'm off tomorrow and have a little bit of free time so I'll try to figure something out. I'm still worried about it rubbing the fan shroud and melting a hole in it. I stopped by the shop on my break and grabbed the exhaust studs. That'll help too I think. Tire came in. It's too big. Parts guy thinks it will work. I was wrong about the size. It's way too fn big. I thought it was 120/70 but it's 120/90 and it's tall. And wide. Way too wide. I was okay with a little extra wide for sure but this is too much lol he said we could mount it and as long as I don't ride it, he won't charge me if it doesn't fit. So at least I'm getting new valve stems tomorrow. 🙃 If not then at minimum a new stock size tire They have a few on the shelf. These tires are pretty old so I'll probably do that at minimum. They're original 😬

The silent pro pipe bolts right up to the zuma The vino cases mounts are not at the same spacing If you give up on that pipe the malossi wild lion pipes have a bracket that adjusts for both side to side and up and down for mounting The bracket is not welded to the pipe you have to manually adjust fitment

If I get a new pipe, I'm going with something that has a large expansion chamber. Yasuni r caught my eye. I know malossi has one available too. I'll just see what we can order and then report back here when I find something I like and see if anyone else has used it. Might check a few build threads and see what's worked for everyone else. That 70 kit had way more pep than I thought it would so I'm really not feeling too pressed to put a new exhaust on immediately. It's running great and is super fun to ride for now. I'm popping wheelie even. That wheel comes right off the ground.
Gonna try to get into Walmart and head to the shop as early as I can. Gonna try to paint the wheels since I'll have them off to do tires. Y'all might think it's funny but I wanted to dona sort of pastel color. A friend of mine mentioned doing some like a turquoise. I kind of like it. Yay? Nay?

Yamaha did some cool wheels like what you were thinking of, on the MT 09.

Didn't do paint but put on tires today. They actually did have the 120/70-10 in stock that I thought was ordered. It's a little sketchy but it's on the rear. Rubs the case a little. I'm gonna let it ride for now. Parts guy didn't do our math just right and gave me a 3.50-10 as a stock replacement on the front. It is not. It rubs. I'm ordering the right sized front tire and doing that when it gets in. I went with a different rear shock, something probably off a cheap Chinese scooter, it was laying in a parts box. It's been repositioned and is sketchy so that will also be addressed. Rides really good, but a little tall for my liking. I think redoing the front tire will make up for it.

The yasuni r is a good pipe. I had one on my Zuma 70, it was about a 5mph gain over the Leo Zx that was on it. It’s going to be a lot louder just so you know. I am at the point I dig a street pipes stealthiness.

I am at the point I dig a street pipes stealthiness. How much of a gain would you think that to be over a stock pipe? I don't mind it being too loud for now and I'll keep the stock pipe or tho Technigas laying around in case I get too tired of it lol Plan for the giant rear tire(please give me feedback on this): Shim out the wheel. I have two washers I'll use at most. I understand that a)this is a balance thing and that b) I have drum brakes to take into account. I'm thinking that maybe a little won't hurt but I obviously don't want to go too gnarly. If that doesn't work, and it at least gets me pretty close, I might notch the case a little. Nothing crazy. Just a little groove to help it clear. If the washers don't fix the issue or make the bike unrideable, I swap to the 3.50-10 I have on the front when the 80/90-10 gets in, and I go back to stock suspension. I really want this 120/70 to work out though. It looks sick not gonna lie. Very aggressive. I'll see if I can't grab a pick before I go to work today.

A Yasuni R would give you a massive difference to a stock pipe. It would rev a lot higher, so more top speed. But will be more powerful too. If you look at this standard 50cc Piaggio engine as a comparison. Your stock bike is probably making between 3-4hp. www.pedparts.co.uk/c/asset/sports-pipe-blog/50cc.png

After looking at that I think the yasuni r is the way to go hands down. Anyways, I hit 50 tonight, twice on the way back home. Once was going down hill a little but the first time was on a long stretch of flat road. I'm pumped.
