Best way to install the front engine bolt, whack it with the engine bolt installation tool, a.k.a. big @ss hammer 😀
Put a part number on your hammer and write it in the service manual under engine bolt installation tool 😀

Was going put on wiring harness today but couldn't find a few bits so put on carb instead then back out the cold shed for the warmth.

Finally found a bracket that secures battery and oil tank. Bit like finding hen's teeth. Been held up awaiting one of these.

Unusual little scooter. Whats the engine code on the gearbox cover?
If it uses an AF05 engine there are aftermarket parts available in Japan and some half-decent China clone stuff. I really like the Honda platforms. The early vertical motors arent nearly as efficient as the Minarelli or Morini stuff but they are very reliable and solid if put together properly.
Of course you could always do an AF16/AF18 or AF35 swap for more parts availability too. Tons of aftermarket brackets and instructions on doing those builds too.

So had a little bit of time to spare on it late afternoon, cleaned intake manifold as found some dried mud in it, started on wiring after re routing the stator wire's to the correct side. Have worked out most connections via Haynes manual. One thing never seen before is a blue earth wire.

Thanks hippo008 I will check the engine code later. It's a A07 engine code. I think that may take AF05 parts. There are all kinds of top ends and cranks available for those, could be worth a look. I’ve not seen an AF07 stamped motor in person before but it looks like the common AF05.
