Hi again, so I got the idle perfect starts first kick when cold. All I’m trying to figure out now is the takeoff, when applying throttle it has that slight high rev then it grabs. Right now I have a white contra, and medium clutch springs and 6g rollers. I’m thinking hard clutch springs, yellow contra and 6.5 ish gram rollers. Whatcha think? Here’s also a video if yall would like to see youtu.be/Zwbb-Hlbcac?si=sBUCcUwIglh_a7xH

Do you want it to rev higher when pulling away?

Not really I would like for the bike to rev up and grab almost instantly. it revs up then grabs hard and pulls. Maybe my clutch springs are to hard ?

I have a similar build & I run the softest ( of the 3 ) aftermarket springs.

The soft contra or clutch springs

You need to try the softer clutch springs then for earlier engagement. If you have an expansion chamber exhaust they don't like early engagement. You should always run the softest contra spring you can. It avoids heating up the CVT too much, and wearing belts. Different brands have can have different colours for different strength springs. So just saying a colour isn't always easy to know what you are running.

So I got the contra good. Yellow works best for me. But I still have a slipping sort of sensation. It pulls, then has a slight over rev then grabs hard again. My guess is the belt is slipping on a hard pull takeoff. I’ve heard some people say that the belt I have (malossi x special) is known to do that? Also I purchase the malossi soft clutch springs and they seem like there not designed for my clutch. So I have stock ones in now. Also do yall run aftermarket suspension? I I’m thinking of upgrading
Thanks again

I can get a little belt slip too if I goose it hard taking off. This is with white contra, malossi multivar, 3 shoe Zuma clutch with +500 springs, & stock belt.

My scooter also has a back sputtering at about 1/4 to 1/2 throttle. Could it be my needle?

Also I’m thinking of the next upgrade for my scoot. Right now I have the
Malossi mhr over range
Malossi x special belt
Polini 70cc cast iron
Yasuni z
I’m thinking the carb would be a good upgrade? Maybe a 17.5mm or 19mm carb?
What do yall think

I personally like a stage 6 street race kit. I currently have a top performance 70 on my vino that I took off my Zuma when I put the s6 on it. If I were buying a kit that is the one I’d get. It has more potential out of the box than the polini or malossi not that either of them are bad.

Until you put heavier weights its gonna shift weird, but once you get that sorted you should be good to go based on my experience

I was thinking of upgrading my cylinder but then I would have to change my build completely.
I think the carb will be a good
I was looking at a dellorto 19mm Phbg.
I am just a bit concerned on the install.
Does the stock air box fit?
How does the oil line reconnect to carb? Fuel is straight forward.
And do the stock jets work with that carb? If not which ones? Thx

I ran a dell 17.5 on my last build. I want to keep auto choke & oil injection for a daily driver. It’s a little boost but nothing like adding a 70 kit. My 70 vino I have now is running the stock carb with a Zuma main jet. It’ll do 50 all day with a street pipe. Never felt like a bigger carb brought much to the table with it.
