I have a lot of problems with my build and most of them are caused by the carburator. Its my first time installing 70cc and i know that with 70cc i need more air but since the carburator was out of tune before the 70cc i have a hard time tuning it. I have a 70cc malossi sport, Dellorto 17,5 with a 85 main jet, and 5g rollers and green clutch springs and malossi sport air foam filter. My main problem is turning the scooter on, the starter cant start it unless its warm and when i kick it over i spend at least 10 minutes of continious kicking to finally get it started. Before the 70cc WITH the carb out of tune it cold started 1rst try. When i was first tuning the carb when i first installed the kit with the fresh 70cc the idle was wayy up high but it started first try. The idle was crazy high and whenever i tried to lower it the engine died and i couldnt start it up after that. My question is how i should tune the carb for it to start better and have normal idle becuase i saw a video of the exact same scooter except it was water cooled version start up cold without efford.

It sounds like you possibly have an air leak somewhere. That's what's causing the high idle.

if you have a foam filter you need a much bigger jet with that carb
with a airbox on my Zuma I was closer to 90
ball park guess a 100 main would be a better choice to work down from

Check for air leaks, and if you can go back to the OEM airbox and filter. They’re just way easier to tune.

Did you check compression/squish when you installed the BBK? Low compression can cause hard cold starts as well. What plug are you using? What do you have your idle mixture screw set to? Is it an electric choke or manual?
