I have recently purchased a Yamaha 2019 SMax, with 6000km. Recently, in longer rides(50-80km's) I hear a recurring beeping sound, like a warning signal of some kind. I have searched the manual, and can find NO reference to a warning signal for any malfunction. Has anyone else experienced this, or have an explanation?
Thanks in advance.

Could it be your phone passing in and out of service areas?

Thanks for this suggestion...next ride, I'll leave the phone off, to test this theory.

Is that a temperature warning signal?
There were some SMAXs that had a leaky head gasket because the cylinder head wasn’t torqued down correctly. Don’t know that’s your issue, but I’d still check your coolant.
