Local weather station says:
100° | 81° 98 °F like 113°
It is only 1:00pm still a couple hours to hit that 100°F high.
I am not going outside. The AC is going full blast and losing ground making the electric meter spin... What is it going to be like in July or August when it typically goes over 100°F actual temp for weeks? The humidity here is a killer. I hate Kansas.

Yeah some of the same stuff here. I ended up in an attic for a bit today to unclog a drain line, now paying for it. No amount of money is worth how I feel. Something's going to give.

WOW! The attic in this weather? Just a few minutes up there could have killed you. You might need to go to the ER.

Historically I am quite acclimated to hot roofs, attics and being in the sun for periods of time. I know my limits and how to stay safe, but this year is different. I can't seem to tolerate the sun very long and recovery is much longer. I went to the ER a few weeks ago to rule out heart issues, they said all is good. They are thinking it is Keytruda side effects and I agree.

I just had my ac completely replaced, after almost 3 years without. In coastal central Florida. Afternoons hit 104* and the evenings never went below 95,inside. It was cooler outside, ALL THE TIME.

You may need to be extremely careful for the rest of your life after that poison.

That is not unusual. The sea breeze is cooler than the land and probably will remain so even with temps rising. It will just get extremely hot outside, and even hotter inside. Just watch that electric meter spin and suck $$$$ out of your wallet. The extra heat will make more powerful storms too.
We are doomed...

It's only about 80°F here yesterday and today. But feels hotter after being so cold. Even last week I was walking the dogs in the morning with a coat on. It's taken till the end of June for summer to arrive.

Pouring rain today for an hour or so, possibly 3/4" or 18mm. Still supposed to hit 83°F, but one never knows whether to believe the weather people. I see they always wipe out their high/low predictions for the day and their precipitation totals and probabilities change instantly. It is usually more accurate to open the door and stick a hand out...
Update: Still thunder booming and pouring rain 2 hours later. Have been watching ammo performance comparisons on Youtube, -some banana chanel with that damn Chrome-shi* browser.

I didn't notice that but he has some interesting testing methods. His targets could be improved with some retaining pins or straps to keep the materials from shifting too much. I suppose he could be fiddling with the audio on his videos. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ix1vljw6tJEI used to plink concrete blocks with a 22LR and it was my favorite target material. Rounds for my 30-06 are too expensive to just plink with. I am chomping at the bit to try out my new laser sights on my 22's but money has been tight since storms and subsequent power outages took out my refrigerator and food. I tried to get some dry ice to help with the food but everyone was out over the weekend the refer failed.
