I’m looking for a larger intake for my 05 Yamaha Vino. No point going big bore yet till I find that solution. So far I’ve found a NCY intake and a Polini 360 intake, I also heard the reeds are slightly different I haven’t pulled mine off yet to confirm. Has anybody used these intakes? Let me know what you guys are running for aftermarket intakes.

The intake and the reed block is unique to the Vino. I do not believe the ones you listed will fit. There was an aftermarket reed block, but I could never find one. Our resident vino guru may know for sure. Zino

I was not able to find a reed cage for the vino . I just bought some polini carbon fiber sheets and cut my own reeds that fit the vinos reed cage .
the stock vino intake will support builds that push to 70 mph look at gutiwarrior vino build for reference

Let me know what you guys are running for aftermarket intakes. In below link you can see the differences between a Vino intake and a regular Minarelli horizontal intake. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/10800/pictures-yamaha-factory-trenched-cloneBelow only counts for the regular minarelli horizontal engines: What carb are you planning to use later on? You can use the stock intake boot up to 21mm when going with a Dellorto PHBG (which I assume and hope you do). All the aftermarket intakes will make you not be able to use your stock airbox. Unless you go with a OEM type aftermarket intake like for example the Malossi (MAL-028481B) or Polini (POL-215.0419). But these have literally no benefit over a stock OEM one, they are exactly the same product. I would only go with an aftermarket intake when you want to go bigger than a 21mm carb or you are building a high revving race motor which I assume you are not.
