:scoot:
hello everyone! i just got my hands on a new toy lately, the "T1000" a 1999 yamaha zuma cw50l,
does anyone have:
performance things?
a front brake lever and "master cylinder"?
body work?
lights?
or even any good ideas on things it could be??
thanks! brandon

hahaa! just kidding, here it is as of now: and here is what it would supposibly be, brand new. quite attractive if i do say so myself, the quality of a yamaha, nice style like a ruckus with the circle lights, but a little body work so its not so ugly as a ruckus. (no offense guys but everyone i ride with has a choppered out ruckus, i like the 2 stroke style myself)

Looks tough as it sits, meaty tires and stripped down. I'd put 1 or 2 (only run 1 at a time tho) 55W driving lights up front, weld some foot pegs on wherever you think they're comfy, and ride it. You don't like the naked style though, so I guess go with stock body work. Looks good that way too.
It should be a minarelli vertical, so a lot like what's in your Triton, but with the cylinder vertical instead of horizontal. Still needs different parts, but it should be at least somewhat familiar if you tear into it.

yepppp. i already have cvt stripped and rebuilding with all my favoite mods included, then some tires on the way, the same michelin ones, and also a belt. probably from there ill see how much satisfaction i get from it a gauge weather it would be worth it to deplenish my tax refund to create a true high quality BEAST! lol
oh yeah! im also going to the first ever large scooter run today, ill post up pics for sure! im told there should be approx 10 or more streched, engine swapped, painted and dropped ruckus'z and also a few odd scoots, something like the faggio on grand theft auto. lol!

Sounds fun. I'm jealous of your riding weather, 50 degrees warmer than here today. lol

Are those piston-ported or combo p/p-case reed? Well, it's whatever this configuration is called. And here's the intake/reed assy. Anyone want to give it a name as to type?

Autotech 355 has a 70cc kit, a reed/intake/carb kit, you are on your own for exhaust: LV, Athena, or Yasuni. SPmoto has body panels. I have yet to find a belt, besides OEM Yamaha, that "works". Brake lever/master: up to current Yamaha will fit, you should be able to hang Chinese generic in there.

I call those "cylinder induction" and the other (like mine) "case induction" Reg. Probably not the correct terms but i tend to make up my own lol. Either way, it all makes sense Nice lil Zuma! Those first gens are perfect for stunting and drag racing IMO. They come with real short gears and they are pretty light. With that vert Mina they tend to wheelie easier because more weight is on top and to the rear. Ide throw a tuned low revving kit on it like a Polini Sport Contessa and go stunt that bugger! Here is one that runs in the NASRA Bracket series with us. Good lil low 12,s scoot. And CONSISTENT!!! That thing is always on its dial. Its at around the 3minute mark in this vid. There are more but this is the first one i dug up.
