Here is yet another question to the topic. If you live in a state that does not require you to have License/Insurance etc... on your scooter and travel on the scooter to another state that does require it. A) Are you required by that states governing laws to have the above mentioned? B) Are you still covered under the state that you come from? the no registration should be no issue you have to have a copy of your states law with you the no motorcycle endorsement should also be no issue but the problem you may run into is the no dl at all im not saying you wont get a ticket for any of the above when you are farther then a border town where they might know the laws we have no plates for trailers under 3000 lbs here in wi i have been stoped in the mitten of mi for no plates on the trailer when they saw the wi plates on the truck i was let go i was stoped down in pekin il with no plates on the trailer and i had to show that plates were not needed for me in wi

Good point on carrying a copy of the laws with you. I did that at first, then when I saw they weren't pulling me over I quit. Prob still should.

yeah and the 1 time i did get a ticket all it took was a call to the court and i had to send them some stuff to say i was a wi resident and then i got a letter back saying the ticket was dropped
