I look forward to runnin all the straight piped 50's (2t & 4t) running around here lol maybe even some 4t 150s. The straight pipe 2Ts have to be ridiculous. I've rode before with just a header. Only did it once. The header aimed to the right and my right ear was messed up with ringing and kinda deaf for a couple of days. Pretty sure that did some permanent damage. |

Around loud ass V-8,s and everything else under the sun and it takes a lil 2 stroke to blow your ear out. lol

That little 70cc was way worse than the cars I've driven with open headers. Now when I've been to track rentals where I could stand close to the burnout box and starting line I've had my ears hurt from some pretty beefy engines... you can feel your eardrums kinda flutter. Took a lot of horsepower though to match what that little scoot did.

Oh yeah....they are very loud. My shop is a good ways away from the street and its still so loud that I can hardly hear myself think when they fly by.
Im gonna have to take a video of mine once I weld the motor mounts and relocate the shock. It will pull the tire off the ground from a stop without yankin on the bars or any of that mess : )

I built a Honda Cr 125 and I had everything except a muffler for 2 weeks it made my ears rings . My friend had a Honbda XR 350 with no muffler as well . We came out of the woods and had 4 cop cars waiting since so many called and complained about the noise as we were teens and rode them like we stole them

Looks like he's got a 9 amp battery instead of the standard 7 amp from the lump in the floor mat but I bet even the 9 amp goes dead in about 5 minutes. I gotta say, after some consideration I think it's ridiculous looking, bordering on obnoxious. Looks like something a guy spun out on meth would create on a two week long tweak session. |
