Yes a smaller turbo would spool up faster . BMW has a diesel with 2 turbos , a small one so it spools fast and larger for top rpm range and it was right on the bumper of a M5 wow . I would want to use the oil injector pump to pump some 2T oil through it to cool it down and have it closer to the engine and have EFI
