Fill it to the top. It will help with wheelies Yeah, I prob am not doing anything good for the handling by moving even more weight even higher and closer to the rear. While perhaps theoretically inferior, practically if the scoot can deal with my 300lb sitting high then the change in the gas tank prob won't make any real difference.

I need one to strap to the rack of the Zuma I’m getting tired of worrying about fuel.

I need one to strap to the rack of the Zuma I’m getting tired of worrying about fuel. I didn't really know it was a thing till I was looking around, but apparently people do install these even on big bikes as auxiliary tanks for trips. They even have bags to go over them so they are less conspicuous and look more like luggage. There are pics in their customer gallery. www.spunaluminumgastanks.com/customer-pictures.html

Hmmm' , it occurs to me you may have to re learn/modify your wheelie-ing skills with all this new weight ??

Hmmm' , it occurs to me you may have to re learn/modify your wheelie-ing skills with all this new weight ?? The good news is that I have no wheelie-ing skills to begin with, so there's nothing to relearn! Pretty much it picks the front up with power and then I get scared when the wheel is like 2 inches off the ground and I let off.

I still have a little more to do to be running again and find out if the sealant is gonna hold this time, but at least I wrapped up the modifications to the frame today. I took the time to give the rear panel a good sanding... and then put runs in it while painting. I did get the rear setup how I wanted it. The GoPro mount is so big that I ended up making spacers to move the tail plate out even more so it didn't press on the tail light. I have smaller bar mount camera mounts, but this big one seems to soak up a little of the vibration that others don't, and there's a lot of vibration any time you mount a cam directly to the frame. Once that fit, I was left with the issue that the plate for the registration sticker was directly in front of where the GoPro would be. I ended up making spacers so I could clear the center bolt in the tail plate and mounting the sticker plate all the way up just under the tail light. It was previously mounted below the tail plate. That gave me just enough room for the camera to peak out below it on center. I'm probably not technically supposed to drill through the sticker, but hopefully no one cares. I did have a cop threaten me with tampering with govt property and modifying registration or something like that when I was 16 because I put a skull sticker over the MD shield on the old style MD plates so I'm guessing they frown upon drilling holes in stuff, but I've seen worse. Now the tail would need to be removed to remove the camera mount, but usually once I get one where I want it I don't mess with it.

Looks great! Looks clean, yet clunky. Kinda like hobo sheek. Very nice work!

If they give you issues about the sticker tell them you didn’t want it to fall off.

Got it all wrapped up and fired up. Took it into town for a good warm up so I can let it cool and re-torque the head. It was breaking up, but I put an old plug in so I guess this one was fouled. I used the rear cam to see if it was aimed about right and I can see that it leaves a very healthy smoke trail now that it's 32:1. The 4Ts should get a face full.

I re-torqued the head and changed out the fouled plug and went for a ride. It seemed a bit weaker than it should be. Not off by much, but running about 500RPM low. Within 10 miles it started getting hotter. By the time I made it home I had the fan on and going under 40MPH and the CHT was still just under 300 with coolant temps jumping around from high to really high. Shortly after it first started getting hot, I realized that the reservoir was full. Well, that didn't last long. Seemed like this time it may have leaked both ways based on the slight lack of power. Normally it'll run strong but just overheat and blow coolant out.

Damm man, that kit is crap if you can't make it work! If no one else is gonna say it I will, why dont you build up an AC motor to throw under there while you work on getting that LC straightened out. Do you need any parts?

That sucks, I think it may be time to cut your losses with the LC until you can find replacements. As OG mentioned maybe just throw an AC on there to get some ride time in. Frustrating for sure...

Between your frustrations and mine, there must be something in the air trying to kill our fun.

2 strokes are sooo simple!
32:1 Let em smoke, let em live!
I third it,throw an AC together till the LC gets resolved..Perhaps refine the AC to run cooler/longer...
