I just took the clutch off and don't see anything obviously wrong. I'll take it down the road tomorrow and see if I even still feel it.
While I was in there, I measured the belt. ~130 miles of in town riding with a lot of taking off wore it to 17.0mm. Normally a new 18mm belt wears to 16-16.5mm from a whole beach trip of 200-250 miles. I've wondered for a bit if the ride to and from or the ride around the show was the hardest on it. Kinda looks like they're about even.

It feels so good when i see other people having fun with scooters too, it just uniqe some people say oh get a real bike bla bla they just dont get it, btw trust me get at least midrace exhaust the 103cc u had will be nowhere near this kit its funny to compare them, it will be ripping like crazy with at least midrace exhaust, u can do midrace with stock ignition without problems. Right now if u wanna make it faster exhaust is the only thing that will make huge difference.

I have a big scooter and for the shows it's no fun. You'd have to pay me to go to the car shows on Fri-Sun on a big bike, because I'd be spending most of my time stuck in traffic. I'm glad the cars enjoy it. I did it for years in cars... but after trying it on the scoot I was hooked. Part 4 of the 86cc video series (trenching) is up : youtu.be/9QZo0CJe-eg

Looks like this will likely be the end of the unofficial H2Oi in Ocean City. The mayor says he's talking with the governor this week and is even considering the idea of declaring a state of emergency because it has to stop. Apparently there was a crowd of 100-200 people in one spot last night and the police had to pepper spray them to get them to disperse and then a few people threw trash and rocks at the police. Report said 1 officer was struck by a rock, so it doesn't exactly sound like the riot that they're selling it as on some news outlets, but obviously it shouldn't get to that point.
A friend told me to be careful what video I post because they may be using online videos and photos to prosecute. I can't find that info, but I've asked him to provide the source. Would be good to know before I get around to doing my own vid.

Update from my friend is that his wife heard about using vids to prosecute on facebook so that really has no weight with only that info. People like to talk out their... well they just say things with little merit. EDIT : From a 2016 article about Cruisin' OC in may : ""Our officers will be looking at these videos and if they can positively identify the drivers and get probable cause to charge that driver with any wrongdoing, reckless driving, things of that nature, then the driver should expect a ticket in the mail," Richards said." So it's not out of the question, but I'll prob post as planned whenever I get to that point. Speaking of vids... just got part 5 of the TPR series done and uploaded. Crank install, a couple of bearings, making plugs for the e-start holes. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfkVG1m8-Y0

That's a shame if it is the end. I guess with the clamp down last year, the writing was on the wall, if it got out of hand.

That's a shame if it is the end. I guess with the clamp down last year, the writing was on the wall, if it got out of hand. I enjoy it because the younger crowd does have a lot of fun. The majority really aren't hurting anything. I don't think they'd have so much trouble if they would have toned it down just a little. I really don't know why they need to be in the streets and so close to cars. Like the guy in the BMW that hit 2 people was clearly wrong for running off, but on the other side of it if the people hadn't been standing in the street he would have just got a little sideways and could have driven off without a problem... aside from obviously burnouts aren't legal. Some of the crowd seem to try to make everything about them. It's weird to me. If someone does a burnout, sometimes people will go kneel by the rear tire and pose. Just stay away from vehicles doing this stuff. It seems like that should be common sense. I think booze and a mob mentality get in the way too. Unfortunately, if some people are part of a big enough crowd they feel like they can do anything. Then with stunts like the fireworks... there's drone footage of it and guys with high dollar camera rigs around it. There are some people that do "aftermovies" of the show that are very well shot and edited that seem to really cash in. If I had to guess, I'd guess that one of them is responsible but I have no idea. So maybe a cool shot for a video turned out to make a great argument to shut the place down "by any means necessary". I like to do dumb stuff there too, but a lot of things just crossed lines that now the mayor can't ignore. I think a lot of car show stuff is tolerated more because it does bring so much business and the local agencies have to make a small fortune with the amount of tickets that they give out, more so with the Special Event Zone making some tickets very expensive. Realistically, most hotels in town would be pretty empty last weekend, and restaurants and bars would get by but they wouldn't be doing a whole lot. It brings a lot of money to businesses, but again the town can only put up with so much. I just hope that whatever they figure out to try to stop this event doesn't spill over into the other car shows.

Part 6 video (gearbox) : www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXc93_RUTJ0Also a question. Someone commented on my last vid that I installed the bearings backwards on the crank and then said good job. I didn't take pics, but they have a plastic/polymer piece on one side. I installed that outward. The instructions from TPR said to install with markings toward crank/conrod and the markings were on the opposite side of the plastic. Never used bearings like them before. I don't really care if they're right or wrong that much and I'm not pulling it apart either way, but just for future reference I am curious. Any updates on catching the BMW A**hole? The last updates I've seen were a couple of days old and said no arrests have been made. Initial posts said that they pulled him over just after and that one guy had a broken leg. More recent news reports that the people both refused treatment. With at least 3 videos of it, I'm sure they could get a tag number. Not sure how it goes with proving who is driving though. BTW, I was watching some vids from H2O earlier and they did get ridiculous Saturday. Crowds were taking over streets and inches from cars or messing with cars when they were trying to get through and they'd kinda walk/run across in from of cars that other people were trying to get to takeoff. I love the car shows, but even I have to say that they were acting totally stupid.

Here's part 7 of the TPR series. This one is the mock up and checks. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXbtHV9t7UEAlso, H2O is still at the top of the local news. Now the facebook page for the invasion of the hot rod show Oct 10-13 is getting more and more people saying they'll be there so the OC police are "formulating a plan". It figures that this year Ryan is hoping to be here and everything is getting crazy. I'm really not sure if it's all talk from the H2O crowd and kinda trolling the police or if they're gonna show up and try to raise hell. One way, I have a feeling it will be stifled by so much law enforcement for fear of them showing up and getting wild and the other way it may be chaos. Hopefully they'll recognize me from H20 and spare me. Who knows what they may do to Ryan though.

I haven't really watched any of my H2O footage, but I had to dig out a pic from the rear cam to tide me over till I can get to editing. I've only left the house for a test ride on T2 since the show on Friday because I've been trying to catch up on TPR vids. Anyway. Four-strokes in their natural habitat... aka behind T2. The dude in the NY jersey's face looks like he couldn't comprehend what he was seeing. Some of them made the mistake of putting 2 people on a scoot. You're in my weight class now suckers!
