Yeah, good point. Ide be looking at the temp and such too.
Hey, your temp ever get above 302? Jason,s and mine wont. Just noticed on his ride last night after he burned the block down with it. Took about 3minutes or so before it cooled down below 302. Kinda silly that they stop working in the most important area.

For an AC with a cast iron cyl, 302's good, especially with the numbers you're getting.

No, mine never topped 302. I thought that was odd that I got to 302 exactly a few times not 301 and 303 or some variance. Damn, now I'm scared. lol It does cool quickly below that though so I don't think it could be far over.

Well, T1 is down and out again. lol I took a ride this morning. I had passed 2 cars and was cruising at 60 and bwwaaa. Coast, smell rubber. I always feel like an ass passing people then breaking down. Kinda like when the people pass you in a snowstorm and then you see them in the ditch a mile away. lol I assumed the belt ate it again and kinda hung then released since it rolled smooth. Temp is at 302. I tried to kickstart it and it didn't wanna fire up. I pushed it a bit and checked the temp and it was at 285. Fired up after about 5 kicks and I rode home. It was acting odd though and not wanting to hit very easy after it died. Got up to 68 on the GPS. Not bad for a CVT that's not modded to go as fast as possible (like the setups that kept snapping belts).

I checked the plug on T1 from the last ride and it's dark chocolate. I swapped up to a 105 main from a 102 anyway. I made it about a mile before it died. It wasn't hitting the same with the 105 either, probably rich I guess. I was watching the temp and it was only 288 when it died, but it rose up to 302 as I coasted. I think it can't keep up with how fast the engine heats up. Once it got back down to 296 I fired it back up and rode home. That plug was dark too.
I checked for leaks around the carb and intake with propane, but couldn't detect any. It idles smooth, runs strong (or did with the 102 main anyway), and has no symptoms right now other than soft seizing. I'm starting to wonder if this is just too much for an AC setup or something. Maybe a case leak? Not sure. Seems fine at part throttle to ride around, but get it kicking in at WOT and it just doesn't wanna run long now. Damn this thing. I just wanna ride for a change.

Maybe an ignition failure due to heat soak?Once it cools, its OK...I know Chevy's will do that when the ignition module is crapping out..Just a thought..... :stumped:

I guess I could carry an extra plug and check real quick when I overheat whatever is overheating.

I fixed the belt and decided to go to a friend's house on T1. As usual, that didn't work out so well. My ear hurts and I'm ...
