Just to give you something to do? Makes ya feel better if you have to mod it before it goes on? Yea, but they already make you put it all together on your own!

I need to talk one of these customers looking for pipes into one so I can see what they're like in person. Sounds like a good choice.

So I got to work on the intake yesterday. I figured out that the stock intake where the carb slips in, is the EXACT same OD as the new intakes ID. I chopped the rubber off my intake, made a sealing groove in it, and put some sealant in it. It's drying right now. I'll take pics in the morning in case you guys have no idea wtf im talking about Looks like I'll finally be able to install the new intake though.

Your scoot is looking killer! Thanks man. Nowhere near the level of your scoots though. I never got the chance to post those pics of my carb adapter, so here they are: You guys think this will work?

This must be the week for screwing things up on our scooters. I went to replace the reeds and intake and the reeds dont fit. I ended up stripping out the top part of one of the allen head bolt holes when I figured out that the reeds didnt fit. the intake is like twice as long with the rubber adapters as the stock intake, so the carb didnt fit in place. I ended up breaking my seal on my adapter and scrapped that idea. I went back to the stock intake and it was completely out of tune, to the point where i couldnt get it to idle unless i was revving it half throttle. And on top of that, it sounds like my exhaust came loose.
Anybody want to buy a metal intake, carbon fiber reeds, and a 70cc boost bottle for $40?
Hell, anybody want to buy a Triton for $2500?

We all have those days. Tighten your exhaust bolts and check for intake leaks. You can stick a fitting in the stock intake if you wanna use the boost bottle.

I cut apart my drilled-out intake to make that adapter, but that wouldnt of worked anyways. The last boost bottle I used was on my 50cc cylinder. It only lasted for 2 days before the RTV silicone dissolved and made a giant air leak around the hose barb.

Sucks about the stripped bolt, but they are no big deal once you get used to extracting them.
Sorry about the adapter, looked pretty good from the picture. Can't try something else?
For the boost bottle - I would go with the stuff we used to use on our air compressors - Teflon tape. Maybe even some PVC cement or rubber cement? Definitely not RTV Silicone though. After using it on my cylinder and seeing how poorly it did. Doesn't hold up to gasoline in the least and it doesn't claim to.
Why can't you use the CF reeds?
