Incredible progress today. I tried several different slider weights, and moved spacers around a bit. I ended up with a top speed of 60.4 MPH @ 10500 RPM, faster than I have ever gone on a scooter. The launch is still pretty good too. Here is a near fail clip of a burnout I did, I need some practice! This video was before I found best tune. I did not see the guy in the pickup at first, You can see him stick his hand out of the window and do a fist pump if you look close enough!
Still slightly lean around WOT I think. I put a 100 MJ in, but I did not get a chance to test it out yet.

I have to mention that I also put some Ride-On sealer balancer in the tires yesterday, and it made a big difference in the smoothness of the ride. I dont have a functioning speedo, or a gas gauge for that matter so I keep my phone in my pocket with the tracks app running. As a consequence I have no idea how fast I am going until I pull the phone out of my pocket and look after I am done riding. I have been pretty good judging my speed, and it felt fast but I was surprised when I pulled the phone out and saw 60.4 so I took another run to verify and it was the same. I don't know how much more is left in it considering my weight, but that is about as fast as I want to go, for now. I think I can get back to the 103 project now that I have this back together. I may pull the motor from the new Vino and open it up to see what I got, the suspense is killing me! I hope it is not a total mess like the rest of the scooter has turned out to be!

I rode for a while today, and had a blast! This thing pulls so hard when it gets on the pipe, it never gets old just goosing the throttle!
RPM's are around 10400 tops at first but after a while they only make it to 10050 - 10200. I don't know if the CVT is heating up, as there is no venting in the cover I am using at this time, or if something else is going on. I think I am going to get one of the sigma bicycle speedo's so I can see what is going on a little better.
I am running slightly lean overall judging by the slow return to idle. I am currently running the 19mm dell clone with a 96 MJ. I tried a 98 MJ previously and it acted kind of like it was leaner than with the 96 so I put the 96 back in and it was back to normal. I wonder if there would be any benefit to switching back to the 21mm Dell, now that I have upped the durations and trenched the cases?

Don't know if this hypothesis holds water but it sounds good in my head: Possibly the contra spring fades with heat allowing the belt to get a hair higher in the variator which results in higher "gear ratio" and dropping RPM's? Like I said, sounds good in my head haha.

Like I said, sounds good in my head haha. Could be something like that. I am currently running a stock contra spring on a BB base. Thinking of moving to a 1000 spring but the only ones I can find are the long ones so I would have to ditch using the BB base. I have a 1200 short spring I got from autotech355, but it is just too stiff with the BB base.

I have a stock 139qmb spring in my OR set up, thanks to Robert. Everything else I tried would bind on me. Glad to hear she's running good for you!
