I spent a little time today opening chord of the exhaust port up. I also tried to shape the sides of the port as explained by 2strokestuffing in one of his videos. It is hard to tell I did much from the pictures but there is a fingertip sized divit behind each side of the ex port. I was scared to go very far due to the close proximity of the cylinder bolt holes.

I was wanting to try this out too. Seems difficult to remove much though! It's not that bad with the right cutters, but there is not much meat on our cases in that area due to the cylinder studs, the minas hold us back as usual.

You should take a look in the exhaust port of the Polini 94cc... Look at the bulges inside the port where the studs are! Time to step up to the Malossi C-one!

Spent a little more time on the "pockets" in the exhaust ports.

Looks good OG! When you have it broken in and tuned right you should take a look in the exhaust duct. Where carbon buildup is visible there is low flow, eddies occur and should be filled up by welding.
