Bought a set of gears from him they were packed well I paid after midnight on Sat morning and they were in my mailbox on Monday. Very pleasant transaction and a good guy to deal with

I would not buy anything from him..nor have I. He sells high quality items at rock bottom prices and has even been known to give away free new stuff, such as BBK's ,Belts,Brake disc and rotor sets, CDI's, Iridium plugs and many other items to those who need their scoot fixed but cannot afford the parts. Reason I posted what i did was because..well. MANY times on here folks have said their Scoot..and only form of transportation was down. They need advice and help to see if the could 'rig' or somehow get it going again. So I contact them and send them free new parts.. BBK's..Piston kits..cables..and lots more. They get it up and running..offer no gratitude and suddenly stop posting at all in the forum. So I guess my big heart gets me taken..but I do enjoy helping others that have an ACTUAL need due to income etc. But I do think some take advantage of the generous folks on here. Many members have purchased things from me..which I sell at wholesale or right near it..and no complaints yet..so I can't be that bad. I hope? Anyway when I saw the posts about purchases from other members..yeah I did have to toss in some humor and see if anybody caught it..or if they all immediately stopped buying parts from me because of it..lol.. Btw..we hit a balmy 31 degrees today!! That is a 2 month record high so far..so woo hoo..now maybe I can put away the snowmobile and ride sumpin fun..such as my Scoot. Oh and we still gotta do a ride with ryan before he leaves our beautiful sunshine filled State.. Glenn |

I send all kinds of electrical parts with wires..and no problem.. But! They scan a box and see a large contra spring in it..and they flip out...  and detain it for inspection...  Of course it didn't help when I laughed and was told they take it serious.. All I said was.. "Ok I understand..but bear with me..I have never seen anybody take a Scooter Contra Spring this serious".. Does show me one thing though..you don't have to know anything to work there??...  Just glad ya finally got it..cause I wondered why the tracking number showed it had been in Florida for a week..yet not delivered. |

They're gettin' crazy. I took in a box to the post office full of my DVD collection I sold. The lady says, "You know we can open this and check it any time we want, right?". I said, "Go for it now if you'd like." She said, "I will if I want to." I said, "OK" and walked out. Weird. They'll probably scan it and think it's a box full of perfectly round ninja stars.

Brent..sad part is.. a real potential threat I bet they would completely miss! I knew something was odd cause Mark did not get the part and it showed it had been in Fla near his home for a week. So I contact them and they have me go to the Post Office. When I get there they ask me what was in the package..so I told them..and they looked at me like 'wth is that?' But when I laughed they were ready to call the Cops...cause as they said..Sir this is not funny" Gee..I wonder why I was laughing then..wow. Vets are put on the Terrorist watch list..so when my name came up they ran it and held the package as 'Suspected Contraband pending investigation' Say what?.. Some body better tell Rick at Scappys...Matt from PFS and Jeremy from enviromoto to avoid sending anybody contra springs until this National Security Conta Spring issue calms down... Funny part with yours..the CD's could have 'Punk Rock and Metal collection'..yet the CD's could have had classified or secret info on them..and they would have never caught it anyway.. "Hey Bob..let this one go out for delivery..read..it's only a CD Music Collection..nuttin' harmful at all"..  |

i'm low income, being on disability makes owning a chinese scooter tough, i paid $1,800 hard to get bucks for the Propel only to have the engine blow in 2 months and the company doesn't cover piston, rings or bearings and i bet you can guess what went.
fortunately my contra spring is still good.
i got everything to rebuild the engine except the crank that will be here tomorrow.
i never ask for a handout, i try to find odd jobs to pay for the stuff i need.
those that have helped me in the past i am grateful for, i feel bad that usmc got taken advantage of by people he helped.
i try to help people when i can, it is a good feeling when it is appreciated.
as far as security goes, i haven't ever had anything questioned but then again i never shipped a spring lol.
these people doing the scans need to be educated farther than the 8th grade degree they have.

Good one Doc. I remember when I ordered some 45cal. Valve stem caps & they were detained for a week. Had pink paper notice in mailbox stating I had to go pick up my package at post office, where naturally they had to check my I.D. before giving my package to me..
