I remember when we had the first 103 setup in Skeedr,it was a nightmare to control on starts with the 13.5 gears, had to build a wheelie bar..Went to 10's and the launches werent so 'flippy'.From my short rides on Snoopy, the start is violent making you feel its gonna flip, maybe a taller gear would smooth that spookey feeling a bit,but it'd put more load on the CVT stuff on starts..

Very cool drag scoot! This build is being featured in the BikeBuilds.net directory here: 190mech's Yamaha Drag ScooterWe're currently displaying only a reduced-size photo (similar to what you'd find in Google Images). We'd like to ask for your permission to publish the original full-size image with your build listing. If anyone would like to have a build of their own listed, just send me a message with a link to the build thread and we'll take care of the rest. Ken

Photobomb on the first pic, lame-ass piaggio MP3 threewheeler in the background. Those are for the ones that want to ride a motorcycle, dunno how to use gears and are afraid to tip over in corners XD
But a very cool picture besides that! Total concentration in those eyes! Hide your women and children! snoopy's comin'!

Got the mutt back together again yesterday I just put the OEM cut 10.25:1 finals back in it with the CPI trans cover i mistakenly sent a good member here with an engine case. Still need to address the front brake caliper dragging issue today.. Gotta oil the trans, put some water wetter in the rad with distilled water, pull the bowl off the carb and check/fix the float, add fuel and oil and light this beagle dog up! Its been a long year away from it all and i am ready to hit the track! One issue though.. I am 10-20lbs heavier now than i was only time i ran a timed pass . I/we (wife and I) were in the shop talking as i knocked the dust off the pup, i said "well, not gonna loose any weight. I hate being that light! Need to make more power then!, or do a rider mod?" She looked and me and said "or i could run it?" Now were talkin i thought! She seems serious so i am seriously thinking about getting her lil 105lb butt on the dog for some seat time... Just riding it around until she gets used to it (lol shit) and good and callused were the legs rub and hit the frame. Could be onto something??? Shit, ricer math says that thing is in the 7,s like it sits with her on it! Ten pounds is about a tenth on these things.. I was 140ish when i ran a 8.3, put her on it and its a high 7 low 8 second scoot! We have done rider swaps at the track and proven this to be accurate even on stock scooters... Looking forward to 2015 and the sweet summer air! WITH A BUNCH OF 2smoke IN IT!

That is super cool that she wants to ride. Women have a lot of advantages when it comes to drag bikes. But be warned once she gets used to it she will want more power and to go faster just like us lol

COOL!!Its got a gut wrenching takeoff, once mastered it can only get faster..Lots of mods I was hoping to do,but time and 'rules' got us parked for a while..I'm sure a 'mobetta' pipe would get the HP up as its got a spliced up non matched spec one on there now.Glad to see the spider webs cleaned off Snoopy!!

Thanks all! Love the support! Im really hoping to light a fire under her ass with this scoot!? I think she would be a heck of a rider and have a BLAST on the thing! IF, it doesnt scare the shit out of her first? I dunno? We will see Its no joke and must be taken very serious! With (an estimated going off OEM specs)25+HP and tons of torque on a lightweight rigid frame its all serious bizz! Vids really do it no justice IMO, they never do. At the track it was either spinning or planted on the wheelie-bar, and thats after the idle-WOT bog we always seem to develop or make worse at the track. I thought about changing tire pressure etc but we were well into the 8,s so i just left it be. That and from previous experience with hard launches and wheelie bars on the scoot, if you lower tire pressure and hook harder your just going to hit the bar harder and lift the rear.. It spins and hits the ground again... Its nasty, gives you a bounce! Might do it three or four times if you stay in it? Real hard on drive train parts! And im not there to break parts! Lowering the bar helps but you can only go so low before you end up stuck like a kid with training wheels in the gravel drive, spinnin your crank because you found a low spot. Its all fun! Anyone that thinks drag racing is just nail the throttle and sit there is still going tooooo sloooooowww LOL!

Maybe you need meer top end power? To avoid the off the line spinning? Raise the powerband 500-1000 rpms? Dunno would that work? You got some more work te do btw. The record here in Holland on 150 meter sprint for a 70cc scoot is 5,93 seconds. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKB0BCU97RI

Lol, no kiddin... You all have been at it long before us thats for sure! Scooter racing in the states just recently started to take off. A fat kid with a dream lol.. It will spread and get more popular i hope?.. We run 200 meters in the states. I dont know about 6,s but i know this ole mule has more in it! I Bet that Holland record was set with the latest, most expensive race parts available? We build our scoots with leftovers and shit off ebay for loads less. Not saying that as some excuse, just proud of what 190mech can do for loads less! I see this one in the 7,s at over 85MPH no problem. A real pipe for the engine will help top end power im sure.. The power is good for now as i havent been able to use it all efficiently yet. Next time (2nd time) to the track, then we will go from there. Now, im gonna watch this vid you linked

Ah right you guys run the 1/8 mile! Yeah than that 5,93 @ 150 meter doesn't match up. I like the way you have build your machine. It takes quite some knowledge and creative thinking to get where you are, i like that.
Btw i know for sure snoopy can do much more!
