Nice! Now to just hoist your computer monitor above your head and we'll all spray champagne at ours! Ready...GO!! Would a Milwaukees Best Beer be OK?Dont have champagne here!! Get some Miller Genuine draft. The champagne of beers, it says. And the 40ozs are almost the size of a bottle!

After some CVT changes (bigger rear pulley), and a longer belt (Athena 795/8.6/16.6) we decided to test the scoot. Bad idea with the used worn belt! In front of the shop doing 60ft digs it was ok, but as soon as i went WOT past 100ish feet it choke slammed the belt into submission . I was afraid of and almost suspected this to happen but was hoping for a few good recorded pulls at least. It was a dumb decision as ive seen snapped belts bend cranks under load but thankfully other than the belt all looks good. I am working on getting a few belts around the 800mm length 18-20mm width area.. Pitch isnt such a concern as the vari and rear pulley are different. Of course thats another thing that will cause belts to wear fast. This is just test and play, for 660-1320 ft runs only, and i dont expect the belts to last long. The Polini belt we initially used and eventually snapped lasted a good while for a used belt. That belt would be too short to use again with the CVT it has now. Updates are short and too far and few i know. Between health and financial life at the momment i am happy to work on the scoots at all . Things are getting better

It may work alright once you get moving, but I'd expect it to have a negative effect on takeoff. That thing may be so strong that it doesn't matter or maybe it would slip instead, but when I tried using an OR belt on a non-OR CVT, the slack in the belt looked similar to what your pic shows. Mine was just a 70cc with a fat rider, but it bogged till it got moving and took up the slack. Possibly OK for speed runs, but maybe not so much for drag racing. Might wanna try to pull the belt as far into the rear pulley as you can just to see how it looks on the front pulley then, before you go full speed on it. Mine never came off or did anything crazy, but again I didn't have this kind of power to motivate it.

Im going to do some runs and slowly step up speed as i check pulley marks. It might run the belt off the vari?
