lol, ohh man!! You guys.... You know me too well! I like most all the cars on the show aside from the ones with engines that are from a different make. I love the fact that Chief went with Butler perf and stuck a big ole Pontiac in the LeMans. Whats wrong with Chuck and the others running Chevy engines in the Fox,s? I mean, yeah i get it.. Its a good proven platform with more than enough aftermarket to power it any way you want but maaaan.. ITS JUST WRONG! Dont mess with the FoxStangs man. They are right the way they are! Might cost a bit more to build but it sure pays off to me. Why not leave the LS in the slowmaro or Vette Silverado... What ev? This guy does ok A classic! Its older but i just love this car! Its so my style lol.

I miss that show. Top Fuel and so on are impressive, but I really like seeing all kinds of different cars and trucks and bikes and finding out what they can do. Would be epic to watch Snoopy race some cars in 1/8 or 1/4. Around here they always stick you in classes or groups so you'd only get to race motorcycles (if they let a scooter run at all).

I don't like the cross breed cars either...if I was ever gonna build a drag car it would be a turbo car especially after watching street outlaws. I used to be a supercharger kinda guy but after seeing the benefits of a turbo I like em...

They make power but its already kinda getting to be the "norm" to me.. Im an outcast and love an all motor N/A kinda high revving set-up.. To me these set-up get the real bragging rights! If they loose to a turbo car everyone expects it to. Like fighting the baddest kid at school. Kick his ass and your the shit, he beats you and its the "norm". Dont know how i know that...Just sounds good These are the real builds IMO and will be the ones getting the attention after all the turbo LS,s and such..

Exactly right, just not sure ide take on Chuck? When i used to keep up with UFC back in my early 20,s Chuck The Iceman Liddel was my favorite. Ive always dug his fighting style and knockout power. I LOVED it when he laid Tito Ortiz,z fat head out (like 3 times).. He is a humble and non cocky type dude and i REALLY respect that

I used to win so much money off his fights from the drunks.. Ide say "hey, look at those two fighters.. Who will win?" They would always go on who "appeared" more fit and bigger.

Testing some tuning and it seems stronger.. Enough to pull the belt in half Also left 40-50ft of rubber on the road while pulling like crazy until the belt snapped.. All is well thankfully. I got it shut down pretty quick and thankfully the vari didnt take a ass chew when it slammed its head together at 12-13,000RPM with no load. There is this issue as well and is also what probably led to the belt breaking, or sure didnt help. The crank shoulder on the 150s is small to say the least. In this pic you can see it is try to push through the ramp plate.. Easy fix tho. Glad to have caught it on the block and before mass destruction! Also replacing the complete front end... More later. Peace out! Tater on!

Ken here from BuildThreads, Inc. Congrats and nice work 190mech - this build thread was chosen as a Best Build Thread pick for this week. What this means is that a bunch of guys who like to build stuff (cars, trucks, 4x4s, bikes, cabins, boats, planes, and garages) and have read a ton of build threads, thought that this build thread makes a valuable contribution to online DIY culture. So, without further ado: Congrats again and cheers!
