Lever (1) should push rod (2) and fuel should squirt from 3. Here's the accelerator pump doing it's squirty thing. Very easy to check, as shown... If 3 doesn't have a hole in it, try cleaning it.

ok... i was looking at the top of 3. i didnt realize it shot out the side (but i guess that makes more sense than it shooring strait up right?)
i sprayed carb cleaner in there for about 20 secs, then shot compressed air through it, so if it was clogged, i highly doubt it still is, but i am going to check real quick.
thank you for posting that, i knew i saw that somewhere....

ok, it does its squirty thingy just fine...
although 1 does not push 2 down very far.
it still squirts, so i dont see why i would need to do anything else to it.
i heard something about maybe my autochoke could be the thing acting up. is it easy to uninstall (or whatever u would have to do to stop using it) the autochoke?

Just unplug it and see how it does. I dont think it is the problem but at this point who knows? Might run like new?

eliminating autochoke made it sputter and die a helllll of a lot quicker. i didnt even get it out of the driveway before it sputtered and died... so i dont think the autochoke is the problem, although, it may be a problem with the autochoke "shutting off" as i have heard it takes a few minuts for the ac(autochoke) to turn itself off. could it possibly be running good when the autochoke is engaged, and bad when it decides to turn off?

I actually think the probl is solved.... I finnally put a ground wire from the engine to the frame. I rode it around the block 4-5 times and no sputter and no die.
I'm not gonna hold my breath however. I'm sure that little of a thing did not cure all that bs, but fr right now it is running good, so I can't complain I guess.
I'm hoping it stays fixed though, and the problem does not come back anytime soon. It seems to good to be true in my opinion.

Bad grounds can do strange things. I've got my fingers crossed for ya.

After looking at the differences in wiring between your scooters, i wouldnt be a bit surprised if thats not it! A good engine to frame ground is a good idea. Uncle was in the middle of a bunch of changes to his scooter. Removing the electric start was one. When he got on his scoot to ride it would cut out like yours was. It would just die sitting there, etc. He took it for a little ride anyway because it always restarted. First time he hit the brakes with his sweaty palms he got shocked lol. Turns out when he removed the starter, he also removed the ground causing him to be the ground when he squeezed the lever. That was a funny day, a good ground strap fixed it.

Well as far as I know it's fixed. I rode it around 4-6 times yesterday, stopping in between to eat and other random things, and it fortunately has not died on me once. So a simple engine to frame wire really did do the trick... Shockingly enough.

2strokd had said I needed it, like he said, when he got my cvt bolts off.
Then someone else mentioned to me that I should check my grounds, so I figured why not put the ground on that 2strokd said I needed. And what do you know.... If only I would have done the absolute simplest thing first right? Lol
