Glad you got a replacement.
The NCY I had might have fit. It had issues with spacing and the diameter of the crankshaft on my motor.
I still believe it's more common to be 12/16 or 10/13 (wrist pin/variator splines), but it kinda sux to know that just pulling the CVT cover isn't a surefire method of seeing which BBK someone needs.
I've had such terrible luck with kick starts that I wouldn't run without electric start or at least initially just take trips that wouldn't require shutting the scooter down until I was home to make sure it would hold up. Lots of tuners run with no e-start, my experience is just bad with them so it may work out great for you.

Went and saw shiftless last night ;D. I ended up with a motor and some 12inch wheels . The crank in this case appears to be a different design with better rod oiling at the crank and a 10mm pin, 16mm vari shaft set up. The crank seals appear to be a better quality too. I havent looked REAL close, this is just from a "look over". Im very happy with the deal and it was nice to meet and hang out with Skipp for awhile Looking forward to coming down next spring to ride with you all in Indy Now, to get Skeedr back together ;D Thanks shifty Glad to help ya brutha You funded what I needed to complete mine ;D BTW your dad called me and wants some plastic Gonna put my beamer together this weekend and get it fired up

The starter clutch is heavy on this one so i guess im freeing up some rotating weight, and a little more without a starter . If it doesnt start within 5 or 10 kicks on a COLD day somethings not tuned right.

Manual choke is awesome in cold weather BTW. So much nicer than the auto-enrichener.

It's amazing how many variations there can be on the same basic motor. Hope you get it all together soon but I urge you to proceed carefully and thoughtfully and get everything right the first time. A couple of extra hours now may help you avoid a teardown in the too near future. Believe me, I've been there. Anyway, hope you have some nice riding weather soon!

If you split the cases, hog out the transfer passages, there is a big mismatch between them and aftermarket cylinders, spozed to help power a good bit.Might change the crank seals too...

Im taking my sweet time. The seals look great so im gonna leave the case sealed for now unless i have a leak. Today i am going to match the case to the cylinder. I gotta be careful and wont be able to go very deep into the carter because i dont want to get any metal in the case.

Think the guy would deliver to WI? I could make that thing into a great sleeper scoot. Turn down the idle so that you can barely hear it running at a stop light, and just take off like a shot.

Those 12 inch rims? Are you going to put those on in place of your 10's?

Are there 12" Boppers in your future? Let us know if it makes much/any difference in handling going from 10" wheels and tall tires to 12" wheels and lower profile tires.

Thanks shift, but i will be ok . Didnt get anything done today, yet . I have been sick all day but am feeling a little better now. Cant wait to see how much of a difference these 12,s make. Could be some Boppers on then soon Vert, not sure yet . I did some case matching last night. I also got the top-end assembled. I couldnt believe the amount of case shaving i had to do to get the cylinder to match up. And just for a "sport" cylinder. Havent fired it up yet, but my new leak tester says its good to go . I will have some pics up soon ;D
