I'm sorry you can't find exactly what you want easily. At least you have had some leads. Wonder if the guy has any clue if it's a 50cc or 70cc pipe? Some people would say it's a 70cc pipe just because it's on a 70cc. I'd think a 70cc pipe should have a big stinger compared to a 50cc, but I don't know what size the 50cc or 70cc stinger is on a Technigas. Any clue which model it is?

Is your old case really shot? What are the dimensions of the worn case and the good bearing on the other side? There may be a few "fixes" to get her back in the road.Is the crank bad,or is it only the variator side bearing?

Not sure but the header was bigger too. I might go back and get it? 190, thank you for the links but im looking for a long case . My old one is shot. The crank bearings are the same size but one will fall into the carter on one side and want to be pressed into the other side like normal. The left carter is worn about .5mm out were the bearing seats. Thats the bad news. The good news is, i think i have found my motor ;D. Its a 03 CPI 10mm set-up just like Skeedr had so all my stuff will fit. All thats available is the case with gears and the crank, but thats all i really need so my hopes are up. Will know more soon

Going to go get the 03 CPI motor this week, maybe tonight ;D. I might need a 16mm vari but other than that it looks like i might be back in business. Its a 10mm piston pin too, so i can use my existing pistons. Now, to get this frame brace fabed up before the motor goes back in . I was going to make one yesterday but didnt get to it. I have the material, just need to pull mt plastic and start grinding and welding .

Went and saw shiftless last night ;D. I ended up with a motor and some 12inch wheels . The crank in this case appears to be a different design with better rod oiling at the crank and a 10mm pin, 16mm vari shaft set up. The crank seals appear to be a better quality too. I havent looked REAL close, this is just from a "look over". Im very happy with the deal and it was nice to meet and hang out with Skipp for awhile Looking forward to coming down next spring to ride with you all in Indy Now, to get Skeedr back together ;D Thanks shifty

Hopefully you can get Skeedr back together before the weather gets too terrible to ride anymore. Glad you found an engine.

Me too! Ive been cleaning and checking, and switching stuff around. The more i work on and study these mina motors the more i realize how much they vari in parts and sizes throughout the years and models. This 03 model have proven that with the 10mm piston pin and a 16mm shaft. That makes everything different. The stator plate spacing, stator itself, wiring, and a few other things. My old stator had a plug with 4 wires and 2 seperate wires. This one has a 3 wire plug. I ended up putting my old stator on the 03 stator plate. Makes me wonder if that NYC stator and flywheel Vert had wasnt for a my old set up? The only thing that would mess somebody up that i can see would be the spacing and thats were you had the most trouble wasnt it Vert? Vert(i thought so too) also had a theory that a motor with a 13mm shaft meant it was a 10mm piston pin. Turns out this isnt true, on a 03 CPI anyway.?. This is good to know and has been a learning experience with Minarelli motors. I might not use my electric start? Im up in the air about it still? I would need a starter clutch and im thinking about not putting it in at all.

All the scoots I've had apart all had the 3-pin plug and 2 separate wires for the stator. Never seen one like the one you replaced it with. At least you didn't have to get a new CDI or wiring harness seeing your old one was still good. Sucks that you cant make the electric start work. I know that most of the time recently if I didn't have my electric start, I wouldnt be going anywhere. Just today I went out for a ride in not-overly-cold weather, and I sat there cranking the electric start for a good 15 secs before it started up. I would've been sitting there for 5 mins cranking on it with my foot
