Yo. Sorry about your leak, etc. I bought some tiny drill bits @ Harbor Freight today and filled and drilled an idle jet to 0.35mm. My idle-to-power transition is much, much better but I think it is still a bit rich and a 0.30 might work better. I'd say that that is too much side play in you're crank bearings. This is probably what caused your seal failure.

New seals wont fix that play,ya gonna go with a stock stroke? Which cranks are you looking at??

Thanks Vert! Glad you got your pilot closer to the sweet spot step Someone at scooterinvasion told me to start with a 40pilot 95main and the needle second clip from top to start with. He said Dello carbs are set rich with the pilot. From what i have read this seems to be true. What started out being a leaky seal turned into a bad bearing....Wanna hear the bad part ? The case is trash on the vari side . I took it all apart and thought man that crank bearing slides in and out of the case easy. Wait a minute, that aint good, its not supposed to slide in and out, they press in !! Turns out the bearing seat on that side is about a half millimeter bigger than the other side and the bearing was just slappin around in there. I did have a vibration but nothing like i would expect from this. I cant even believe Skeedr ran let alone power wheelied my ass down the road . Im lucky it didnt throw a rod and poke my eye out kid lol. Now im shopping for a good 10mm pin donor motor and a good stock stroke crank, well maybe stock stroke....

Does it matter if the cases are intended for a 10mm or 12mm wristpin crank? I thought they all used 6204 bearings. Are you looking for a stock crank or an aftermakret crank? If you're going aftermarket, you might as well go for a stroker unless the extra cash in machining and spacers is more than you want to spend.

Im not sure about the cases, im sure they are the same. I will check the bearings to see if they are 6204,s but im 90% sure they are. Im getting a aftermarket crank of stock stroke to save a bit and keep it in the 70cc range. I still dont understand how the bearing came out of the seat and wallerd it out? Maybe using an impact to remove the vari so many times? It is only that side thats bad...

I dunno if it would be an impact wrench. You should have problems with the threads long before the case, I would think. I've got bigger threads that should hold up to a little more and I had to re-thread my crank, and it's the one you see in the video that's not moving.

I know, you would think it would have sounded like a diesel . It would fire right up and scream down the road lol. Probably still be riden it if i hadnt checked. It was starting to vibrate more than usual but i figured, "ehh, the chicks ul dig it" . It would have just shattered along side the road some were and destroyed the top end too so im glad i checked it out

Went and looked at a Jog today with a horizontal mina short case. The motor could have had potential but the rest of the scoot was really rough. It had a big carb, (i think it was a OKO) a technigas pipe with a big stinger, and supposedly a good 70cc kit . I didnt hear it run but the guy said his mechanic road it up and down the road. He wanted $250 and that was too much for me. The motor was probably worth it with the goodies on it, but i really want a long case to get Skeedr going again . And the Jog was cosmetically gone....He told me a guy is supposed to buy the pipe for $50 then he would sell it for $200. Wuuppdeee ddoooo!!! That sounds like poor sales pitch to me that might just backfire if i decide to spend $50 of my motor savings and buy the pipe and leave the heap lol??? I have other leads, im just tired of waiting lol. A Technigas is worth $50 especially if its a 70cc pipe
