I have run out of summer and almost fall and still have not made it to the track. I got the scoots out today to get them ready to hopefully go this weekend? First off i found this in Skeedr carb bowl  Thats never good.. The carb is very old so im not mad at it. In fact, it started to break at the last event we raced at. One side of the hinge let go and somehow the scoot finished the day. It came all the way apart the other day. Keihin classic!   Ide really like to upgrade/date the carb soon, but until then anyone have a float like this i could buy? |

Mine is the same way with heat.!!! Man it really hits hard when the water temp is high say around 185degree

I might try to solder it? Or check with some local buds first...
Need to upgrade carbs sometime on both drag units.
It get to running when the pipe temp gets up there. That AC head gets hot and it starts bitchin. Thats at 320+ though.

Finally got a new to me used float off ebay. Great shape and fits like a glove! Thing is, now i have Skeedrs ole 96cc Mina mill under a street scoot in the making.. Same style scoot, Eaton More to come...  Scoot safe all  |
