I know its not much but i think i can cut 5-10mm or so from this intake.? I thought about trying that, and a "bellmouth" for the carb. Should increase velocity 6-7% or better than the hose and screen i have on it. Hoping to notch off a couple more tenths. Nothing major, just something ive been wanting to do before the next trip to the track. Need to get some more jets as well.

Nothing really new with Skeedr. I was able to take my son out and let him do some practice passes though

Thanks all. Paxton is right around 120lb i think?.. Should still be good for 8,s with him the way its sits. aeroxbud, ive noticed lately the clutch bites much harder with heat in it. I did that burnout you see the rubber on the road from, and a few "dry hops" and it was biting hard! Then it was wanting to wheelie unless you scoot up on the seat and leaned forward real good. I really like the way the new slick is working out. Scooter is more stable and predictable with it. Not to mention the exhaust header is much safer with the taller tire. Im sure the 60ft times are still well under 2 seconds? My best 60ft was 1.5 seconds on this scoot. The Mustang in this pic ran low 13,s in the 1/4 mile and never had 60ft,s that quick

I had a race on Sunday with a moped in the car. Was a really tricked out Yamaha Slider. Left my car for dead up till 60mph. They only weight 70kg and with a Malossi MHR rep making over 14bhp it was gone

I wonder if they'd let you have a grudge race with a car at the track next time you get there? Would be fun to watch SkeedR race a car... especially if you or someone watched test and tune runs for similar times to make it close. Even with the times and speeds it puts down, I'm sure a lot don't think of it as being able to run with a car.

Sounds fun aerox. And yes Brent. Almost every time i tell people it will smoke their car/truck they look at me funny. I tell them not on top-end speed, but from 0 to say 60-70MPH (or more?)you wont touch it. I almost talked a guy into racing me with his Hemi Charger but another guy told him ide get him bad off the line and he lost interest. Those cars typically run low 9,s in the 1/8th it seems.. I was counting on him smoking the tires, or just flat beating him. I know Skeedr would still kill it off the line either way

See, a lot of people say they don't get why we'd mess with scooters... but when that guy backed down he understood at least a little bit.
