He already had a thing with 2T,s John  . He is my brother after all  He had a decent 2T scoot with a "FM" Mina in it but sold it a few years ago. Now he has a couple of GY6 fours. So ya, Skeedr was a TrIp for him  That's a great feeling as well. I ride with my son and his scoot "Streetr" as much as possible. |

How old is your son? I have 4 of them but only one is interested in riding. He is 12 now so can't legally ride on street. But has owned a ktm50 and a ktm65 and he begs me to ride !

Paxton is 15 now and rides BMX like a pro, knows how to drive the car, has riden smaller dirtbikes and quads. When I was into dirtbikes and quads heavy he was just a wee lil tot.. Loved to ride on the 240cc Blaster tho His scooter is just like Skeedr, a 01 CPI Miskito  . Its stock for now but will soon see subtle mods again. We had it somewhat tuned last year with an Airsal cylinder and a Peace Pipe. Here we are racing it against my "Truck". He is GOOD off the line! |

We havent done much to Skeedr yet but i did decide before we tore into it for any updates and repairs we would add a splash of fuel and fire it up! After seeing/reading whats happened to Brent with his 2T,s and letting them sit with pump fuel previously ran through them this just seemed like a good idea, or a real bad one lol... Being in the case i started it and ruined all the bearings. Its sat for about 5-6 months with no fuel in the carb or tank but this means pretty much nothing as a 2T will keep fuel and oil in the cases for a long time. I was just hoping not too much moister joined. The head was leaking but i knew this. I can get about 10-20 hard passes on it and the head will start to leak from the lack of gasket and walking around at high RPM. The only way i could get the desired squish at .4mm was to run without a gasket. I might end up adding a .5mm base gasket to increase the port durations some and get that space i need to run a head gasket? I kicked the scoot over a few times and it the compression was plenty high enough to run. I poured it a bit of push juice and a couple kicks later the engine was running and sounding as good as ever! I took it out for some digs but the clutch/belt was slipping too much to get any good results  .. I noticed the fuel cell drooling again so i suspect it leaked into/onto the CVT? Even though we know we already had some slip issues, it went away with some dry hops and heat getting into the clutch. I really need to try some more weight into the shoes as well. For the money spent i cant say i have been thrilled with the S6 clutch and bell. My Hoca bell will out grab it any day! The Hoca clutch and bell are on Snoopy now, with somewhere around 30HP and its still never slipped a bit! All in all the engine ran great! About ready for duty |

Fun to see how far you and Skeedr have progressed. Imagine if on one of those days you could have hopped off of Skeedr then and onto Skeedr as it is today. Would have prob blown your mind. No need for loose spots to spin tires. |

That would be a trip!! Ide like Skeedr,s current engine/set-up under the scoot from 09-10 Even de-tuned a bit for the street im sure its good for around 10-15HP.? Hard to say without ever having it on a dyno? |
