yup...and Nitrous....but the 77mph(now 81mph) top speed was achieved without use of nitrous....

I just ran my buddy in his turbo 240sx!...ha!....i jumped him...but hey.... a chase is a race! At least you were wearing a helmet this time =)

Yea....I dont trust other drivers/vehicles....so if Im racing/commuting on public roads...I wear one....and that was before all of the Nitrous/drag racing mods!....haha

Nobody intends to have an accident on their own either. I am sure you have heard of the 'law of unintended consequences'. An unintended consequence of an unintended accident could be death or whats worse to me, paralyzed. I always wear a helmet no matter what, my skull doesnt bounce. When I was young, I cared less. As you get older and witness more unintended things happen, to friends especially... some freaky and deadly, you become more careful. Just food for thought.

Ive grown to accept the risk of unintended circumstance/accident/consequence as a variable with wide value. outweighing risk with pleasure/enjoyment depends on many conditions. Most of which I calculate day by day. Some days I play the odds...others I let my inhibitions chart the course. Enjoy life while you can.

Just an update....this setup is still running fantastic!...its a blast on the street being able to beat cars to the speed limit....and even raced a few mustangs/corvettes!....haha!....they have no clue just how quick the little Vento can be!......also bested my last top speed with 81mph GPS with a slight tail wind.. heres a vid of one of my testing drag passes:
