Any plans to add oiling holes to the piston for the bridged exhaust port? No, i don't think it's nessecary plus i don't have the right tools to do it. Maybe it's 'better' to do it, gives me little less chance of the piston rubbing the bridge but i think i dare to take that risk. The bridge is drilled back from the factory so that shouldn't give me any problems.

Got my Runleader tach in the mail. Looks nice. For the ones who are interested where i bought it. They're on discount atm www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6646384172.html?orderId=67095497515984Also ordered a little lcd backlit temp display to work with a CHT. Further, got the engine almost done. I only need to pressure test it for leaks, but i don't have the tools yet to do so...Need a 0-4 bar pressure gauge or something in that range. Progress is slow...but im trying to do the best job i can and not rushing anything.

The last couple of weeks been ordering all kinds of stuff to prepare for my epic scooter voyage to france the 22nd of june. It's still on!
Ordered a cht gauge, phone holder for navi, bagage rack, stuff to build a leaktester, bmx pegs for future passengers, reflective tape (safety), bought a small lightweight travellers tent AND a sj4000 camera to film the whole trip. Anyway...the things i still need are a front axle and some copper rings. I'll buy those tuesday.
Half of it came in the mail already but because im so busy with work and school i haven't had the time to do anything on the axis. Its parked at my parents' house some km's away from my studio in Eindhoven so my hands are itching to get it running!
New update next tuesday!

Pressurized the engine today. No leaks BAM, regardless of the all JB weld everywhere. Also rebuilt and flushed the front fork. Spent €50 on parts at the local scooter shop and mounted the engine in the frame.
I got my CHT meter and thermocouple in the mail. The cht backside was open and the circuitboard exposed so i used some acid free silicone i had laying around to seal the backside from dust and moisture.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a runner!
This video shows the first moments of life of the engine. Wants to fire up right away with the first kick! I unscrewed the idle screw so in case something wasn't right the engines wouldn't go wild.
