I have been busy researching KLR mods but i will be calling in still Klr mods are like scooter mods never ending lol Sent from my SPH-L720 using proboards You are not wrong they all cant be good mods. They seem like women with hot flushes. Oil gets too hot and the water can get slow to heat up but in summer its different. Its the suspension I like but i like Hondas but they dont get given away The GY6 is going well cant beat a 2t uphill bar the badly tuned ones. My centre stand is well tuned no scraping for long time

I keep adding to the boxes of parts and pieces but I am shaking too much so I ride. It is like some kind of alternative Hell here. I can find and buy parts but I can't install them.
I did manage to get the AC unit fired up on the house. I cheated and did not clean the A-coil. That is a delicate job not good for shaking hands. That will cost me $$$ this summer.

Put the clutch and bell on I've been waiting for and a kick start lever. Clutch is a great upgrade on my scoot. Couldn't be happier with it. Now if it would stop raining!

I looked at the muffler on the taotao 50 and decided its got too small of a pipe exit, goin to chop that off and weld a 1.5 inch pipe on there instead of the 1/2 inch. I just gotta wait for my new jetted carb off amazon to come in the mail.also gonna get to napa and slap on a new pvc valve from the valve cover when i am done working tonight.

i got home from work at 6:45 am and dug into the crankcase pressure problem, looks like the pvc system is workin fine....it still seems odd that the dipstick is under pressure after a ride! I will get a catch can and install that in the dipstick, that will cure that problem. I also installed the 85 jetted carb and drilled out the exhaust pipe outlet 1.125 inches, man did that make it sound better! pulled apart the factory sealed carb and it had a 82 jet in it....if i only new! i may put that carb back on because now it isnt as smooth in the mid range, a little miss/hesitation. its probably running fat now.

If the old carb is sealed, you may want to try the 82 in the new carb or adjusting the new carb's needle vs going back to the old one right away.

I removed the exhaust from my wife's scooter and repainted the pipe flat black and the silencer purple metallic flake. I also ordered a little dry shot NOS kit. Studying the link Brent gave me on making a boost bottle....Thanks Brent you the man....Maybe I'll test the NOS on my wife's scooter first...
