I rotated my tires today.
The tire that was on the back... it looks messed up dudes. I have never seen a tire with so much cupping. Well it's up front now, and the near-new looking tire is on back.

Rode to Wally World and RadioShack Picked up a socket set and some electrical things to put on the trailtech with. Tested the new tires. They stick to the road like glue.

Went for a ride with my friend Tucker. I rode the Zuma, he rode the Vino. He said, you really need to put a 70cc kit on that, I said pull over. I rode the Vino for the rest of the ride.

I ordered up a set of malossi gears (I hope these are right... The Polini and Athena gears I had before were both wrong and.... I just hope from these are it lol 3rd times the charm right?), a shock extender/ riser (Keep that exhaust off the ground.), and a kickstand from www.racingplanetusa.com

Im always itching to ride so I never got around to painting my scooter... Well in a unfortunate turn of events I fell victim to someones inattentiveness, and got hit on my motorcycle . It left me with a badly broken ankle, and my bike needing a new rim and some other small items... So while I cant ride the scoot or the bike until I heal, Its a perfect time for painting the scoot! So today, I took all my plastics apart and stripped em to get them ready for primer and paint. Ouch. I feel for ya man. Ya before I got my scooter I wouldn't care if someone almost hit me. I even got hit once and even then I didn't care. But I get road rage for stupid drivers when I'm riding my scooter. I just feel so venerable.

Went out for a couple of test runs this morning and had birds try to hit me on each ride. Does the summer solstice make the birds go nuts or something?

Lol! Makes them CooCoo! Road to work on a road that's been stripped and surfaced for repaving. That was a treat. Had to kind of just let the bike wonder from left to right like a truck in deep mud ruts.

They're paving a few areas around here too. Reminds me of a dirt road or the feeling you get riding over grates like a bridge, but at least there are no loose spots on the cut asphalt or grating to surprise you. I was looking at the expansion joints on a bridge near the beach with these big gaps on a hot day. They have signs to warn motorcycles about the expansion joints but I'm thinking those suckers might partially swallow a little 10" wheel/tire combo.

Yep lots of draw bridges around here. I've found if you ride across them diagonally from one side to the other it works best.
