I have 12" tires and some of the roadwork and potholes just eat my scoot. It is hard to miss them all with three wheels. I have ridden the scoot so much the seat is failing. I am looking at adding some plywood supports under it. There always seems to be something. I spent Thursday and part of Friday trying to put up a squirrel cage fan in the shop for air movement. I can't seem to get it right. My 'thinker' does not work anymore.

On my ruckus style scoot there is no helmet locker. The plastic seat pan just needs better support. Some good furniture grade 1/2" plywood stock should work well. If I could get some aluminum honeycomb material.... I just went for a ride today and picked up some groceries, tools, and parts. I stopped at a garage sale and picked up a big electrical cable connection crimper It is far better than the one I was thinking about making or buying. I still haven't got that fan hanging right.

Yeah, with 24" dia wheels and 80 profile tires, not these 12 inch things. The potholes are wider than 12". They would flip a scoot with 10" wheels. Manholes are bad news also... I think they have a +/-2" tolerance on cover height and they push that spec. Then the utility companies rip out and supposedly 'patch' streets. Patch is definitely not the right word. That would assume some sort of workmanlike finish. Around here they must use convict labor and just throw 6" rubble at the holes.

its the same over here Frank digging up the roads over and over again And as soon as you know where all the potholes are they shift them
Good riding the scoot today no jacket required.

Had a squirrel play chicken with me this morning. Little sucker turned to face me and stared at me while I rode at him. Revved it up while moving slowly and he waited till I was real close to finally move. I thought for a minute I was gonna lose a game of chicken to a squirrel.

Getting ready to take a box of body parts that arrived from sitticus to the warehouse. (thanks man, I know that type of stuff is a pain to ship) I hope these will fit, because the last stuff I bought for it was not even close.

64MPH is a pretty good thing to do on a scooter IMO.
