Concrete blocks and scraps of wood make college/university student shelving. It has been a long time since college for me but I still have some... I once worked in Alfred NY. There are 2 colleges on either side of the 4 block long Main Street. Coming into town there was a cinder block plant that I couldn't figure out who they sold too. When school opened up there was a line of students buying blocks for shelves. When school ended the maintenance people would take the blocks out of the dorms and stack them by the road where a truck from the block company would pick them up. They didn't really sell the blocks they were just renting them so to speak.

Got my junk for parts scooter to run. Has to be jumpstarted. Pretty funny... only jets that fit are way oversized so only works up to half throttle. Drove it in circles around the cul de sac giggling.

Kickstart arrived today for Vespa et4 50cc so I fitted that then took carb off and put it through a sonic cleaner, the pilot jet is really blocked though but got a service kit for the Keihin coming so not a worry....I hope

I only tried the kickstart to fire it up a couple of times dexameth didn't find it very efficient so resorted to electric starter. I have seen posts elsewhere about the Vespa kickstarter. proper ones like lml/Vespa are great for starting no effort at all.

I forgot how heavy those 125 ET4 engines were as you get older. I got the yard broom to sweep out the garage but there was so much crap I started with a garden rake. All finished and space for her tricycle and me to get the scooters out.

Today went to check why indicators not working. Wired from ignition so separate to regulator. Checked wiring looked ok but when turned ignition on nothing on rest of system. Checked battery which is fairly new and now reads 3.2v. Put it on fancy charger and back to normal now. When carb back together next week I shall test out and see what the generators putting out. Hopefully its just a parasitic drain which is nice and easy to trace 😐

Excellent. See if you can get it added to the top speed list. 😉 Seriously, not bad quality. And it was seriously naked!
